Stone Shield: Creates a protective barrier of rock around its allies, reducing incoming damage by a certain percentage for a short duration. The shield also has a chance to reflect a small portion of the damage back to attackers.

Earthquake Stomp: Mini Earthrender stomps the ground, causing a minor tremor that damages and briefly stuns nearby enemies. This ability also disrupts spellcasting and slows movement for a few seconds.

Molten Breath: Unleashes a stream of molten rock that deals fire and earth damage in a cone in front of Mini Earthrender. This attack can leave a lingering burn effect on enemies, dealing damage over time.

Rockhide: Temporarily hardens its scales, greatly increasing its defense and resistance to physical attacks. While Rockhide is active, Mini Earthrender is slower but significantly harder to damage.

Burrow: Digs into the ground to avoid incoming attacks for a short duration, then re-emerges with a burst of energy that deals AoE damage and knocks back enemies. This ability can also be used to reposition quickly in battle.

Geode Burst: Summons sharp stone spikes from the ground, targeting a small area around enemies. This ability deals high burst damage and has a chance to reduce enemy armor for a brief period.

"Mini Earthrender, come over here!"

Xu Feng called out to him, who was happily running around the area.

As the Mini Earthrender began running toward him, Xu Feng realized constantly calling it Mini Earthrender was kind of long.

He glanced at the interface and noticed the option to put a nickname for it.

'No offense to Earthrender, but I rather call it something else other than Mini Earthrender.' He smiled apologetically at the Earthrender's naming sense.

"Mini Earthrender, from now on, your nickname shall be Flint." Xu Feng declared, inputting the name as its nickname in the interface.

Shortly after, his status screen also altered the Mini Earthrender's name to its new nickname.

The nickname could be changed whenever he wanted to anyway, but for now, Xu Feng planned on calling it Flint. Given that "Flint" could use a skill called Molten Breath, it was only fitting that it had a name that resembled it.

"Do you like your new name, Flint?" Xu Feng questioned softly. In response, Flint chirped happily and flew toward him.

Without a doubt, Flint loved the new name and was exhilarated.

"Haha, I guess you don't like the name Mini Earthrender too!" He exclaimed.

As Xu Feng said this, back at the Abyssal Rift, there was suddenly a loud sneeze that reverberated throughout the chasm, sending shocks to numerous people who were nearby.

"What was that loud sneeze?"

"Could it be a monster's cry for battle instead?"

Alerted, the people nearby became alarmed and their guards rose to a new height.

Such incidents would continuously occur at random times, giving rise to different sorts of rumors revolving around it, but that was a story for another time.

Back at the Pet Assessment Room, Xu Feng spent the remaining time, summoning different kinds of terrain and illusion monsters for Flint to fight.

"That's right, Flint! Use Molten Breath to give a burning effect and Earthquake Stomp to stun the target!" Xu Feng shouted, pleased with Flint's quick learning speed.

Flint was a complete natural, having almost grasped everything that Xu Feng instructed from the start without the need to over explain.

In all honesty, he found training and assisting Flint was way better than teaching OneManMedia, Zhao Kai, and Carmen. Not only would Flint not try to do anything to displease him, but he would also actively chirp happily in a way to please him.

Unfortunately, happy times were bound to go by so fast.

Without even noticing the time, Xu Feng heard beeping sounds, followed by a warning that explained he had 3 minutes to exit out of the elite tier room.

"30 minutes already passed?" Xu Feng twitched his brows, finding it unbelievable. Alas, when he checked the time and realized the time was indeed up, he was speechless.

'No wonder most pet owners are broke as hell!' Realization dawned upon Xu Feng as he wanted nothing more than to rob the elite tier room for his personal use.

Not every city would have a Pet Association available. Only the top-tier and quality city would have them.

Star Falls City would have one in the near future, but in its current state, it was still a pipe dream. After all, it wasn't a day or two that everyone knew how much of a failure Star Falls City was.

"Sigh, no point in dwelling on it further." Xu Feng shook his head and organized the equipment.

"It's time to leave, Flint."

A few seconds later, Flint gladly flew toward him and made himself comfortable on Xu Feng's shoulder. Clearly, Flint wasn't even a bit reluctant of having to leave the room in contrast to Xu Feng.

If it was one gold coin for at least 1 hour, then Xu Feng wouldn't feel that much bitterness.

Heading toward the platform, Xu Feng slowly descended to the lobby, and before the platform even stabilized, he heard numerous people panicking.
