Chapter 441 Flashy Ravens Rising
"Hello, I would like to create my own division."
"O-Oh, Sir Crowley. I-I understand. Please wait over there, I shall send a notification to the guild master."
After mulling over things for an entire night, Shye decided to create his own division as it would be way more beneficial for everyone he cared for if he created a haven wherein they would all be under his protection, giving them a safe space to grow in a competitive guild that swallows newcomers whole.
Furthermore, this way, it would be easier for him to gather ten diamond-ranked priests/priestesses with the required curse removal skill for Seira.
Although establishing his division and taking care of it would be a lot of work that would slow his adventuring career's progress down, it wouldn't be too much of a problem as his growth depended on how many points he could earn.
Also, his final goal wasn't to become a high-ranked adventurer but to become someone who would be capable enough to save his parents and help the old man achieve his unknown goal.
Who knows, maybe if he treated his underlings well enough, they would willingly help him search for his parents, increasing his chances of finding out what happened to them exponentially.
After all, when it comes to getting things done, a group of people is often more effective than an individual.
…After waiting for a while, the receptionist finally called his name.
Despite Shye's illustrious reputation as a rookie, Receptionist Kisha initially thought that the chances of Shye's request getting approved were close to nothing.
Hence, when the guild master approved without even thinking about it for a single second, her mind blanked out.
In the past, there were even adamantite-ranked adventurers whose application requests were denied so it was truly hard for Kisha to believe that a mere emerald-ranked rookie's request was approved.
"Congratulations, Sir Crowley. Your request to establish a division has been approved by the guild master. What would you like to name your division? Please note that the guild's division code is 'Raven,' so you must include this word in your division's name."
"Flashy Ravens Rising, is the division name I have in mind, is that name allowed?"
"Yes, Sir Crowley, your chosen division name perfectly complies with our division creation rules. Please wait for a moment, I shall finalize the creation of your division."
After one minute, Receptionist Kisha shifted her attention back to Shye.
"Congratulations, Sir Crowley. Your division has been established and will appear in the rankings within twenty-four hours. In the meantime, I suggest you visit Pure Finesse Emblem Shop on the north side of Seventh Street," the receptionist explained patiently, pausing briefly to gauge Shye's understanding before continuing with more details.
"They're one of our partnered shops, and you can request them to create a division emblem for you, along with division tickets for the members you approve. Essentially, as long as a guildsman has your division's ticket, I will enter their names into the database.
However, their application status will remain pending approval, and the guild will wait for your confirmation before officially enlisting them as members of your division."
"Also, a few more reminders…"

After thirty exhausting minutes of nonstop reminders and explanations, Division Leader Shye Crowley was finally dismissed by Receptionist Kisha, allowing him to head over to the mentioned emblem shop.
Twenty minutes later, he arrived in front of the Pure Finesse Emblem shop.
The shop was enormous.
Standing proudly at 25 meters tall and 100 meters wide, the shop's walls were constructed of smooth granite, giving it an exceptionally elegant appearance.
This was further accentuated by the enormous blackwood door at the center of the building, flanked by two strong guards.
Entering the shop after admiring it for a while, Shye couldn't help but sigh.
The interior was just as luxurious as the exterior.
However, there were slightly over a thousand people queued up with various requests, as the shop offered a wide range of services.
Despite there being seven counters, he would have to wait for over a hundred people to complete their requests before it would be his turn.
'Sigh…being a division leader sure is difficult.'
Shye didn't want to waste time waiting as he could do more productive things like planning how to recruit trustworthy members instead of queueing.
'Are there VIP memberships or something?' He inwardly thought.
Given his position as a division leader, Shye realized he would likely be a regular at the shop, hence, he believed that it would be wise to obtain a high-tier membership to avoid the hassle of queuing behind thousands of people each visit.
After all, the shop even offered services for drawing portraits of loved ones, and while Shye wanted to get one in the future, it would be an unnecessary delay to wait behind such customers every time he entered the shop for a request.
Thus, he decided to queue at the information desk instead, where there were only around twenty people.
After a while, he finally got what he wanted.
"Right this way sir. Our VIP membership dealer is inside."
Shye wasn't a stingy person, hence, his VIP membership was settled after just fifteen minutes of negotiation.
It cost him 1,500 gold coins which was quite a huge amount for a VIP membership that would not offer him anything except for request priority.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
However, to Shye, any monetary losses could simply be recovered in a single high-stakes bet.
"Congratulations, Sir Crowley, you are now a VIP member of our establishment. Here's your VIP membership card. If you have any requests for our shop, you may head over to the second floor."
Leaving the VIP membership room, Shye headed towards the second floor where he patiently described the design of his division's emblem and what he wanted his division's ticket to look like.
It took him around two hours, yet, he was unexpectedly pleased after completing everything he needed to do at the Pure Finesse Emblem Shop.
Now, he just needed to return in two days, pick up his requested items, and turn them in as division emblem and ticket samples to one of the receptionists at the guild.
In the meantime, he shall plan how to make his division grow at an explosive rate.
