Yugioh Card Summoner

CH.525 Artificer Wilma

CH.525 Artificer Wilma

I guess I’ll start with the news from MedBay. Two people had been taken in because they are evolving.

The first one is Olia, Unika’s mother. She doesn’t get the level up treatment that often, mainly because she doesn’t want to, but she is now level 50, 51 actually, and she is evolving.

The other one evolving is actually Wilma. I’m not 100% sure if that is the case, but it might have something to do with the sacred forge in Smorog. I got both the title and the dwarf race from having that explained to me, so I wonder if the same applies to Wilma. Maybe that triggered some sort of evolution.

Also, since we are talking about Olia, I guess I’ll show you how Valoa is doing.

Spoiler

As you can see, Valoa has some really high skill levels compared to his overall level. That is because he generally wants to level up his skills, instead of his overall level.

He also takes part in a lot of the dhampir lessons, well, they aren’t just for dhampirs anymore. But still, he learns different skills from different instructors (my monsters). Which is why he has four different weapon technique skills. Well, Bow Technique he learned from his big sister, but either way. He hasn’t yet picked which weapon he wants to main, so he is just kind of learning everything. In fact, he will most likely get both Staff and Sword Technique at some point as well.

And all of the skills are learned, not installs, except Defense Boost, which Olia made him take after a training accident.

And honestly speaking, considering his skill levels, and the fact that he is a beast-folk, he will likely evolve when he reaches LV.30.

Olia was the first to be done with her evolution. She evolved into a Multi-Tailed Fox-kin. Kind of like Unika, but Unika is a Multi-Tailed Flame Fox-kin.

Spoiler

Again, like with Valoa, her skills are all her own, except Defense Boost. She took it at the same time as Valoa took his.

Also, her Pleasuring Technique has been leveling up, because massages count under Pleasuring Technique. Don’t ask me why.

She learned Wind Magic while she was practicing with Valoa, and she learned Mana Flight, because, and I quote, ‘It is easier to reach the high places with it’. I mean, the main thing she uses Wind Magic for is clearing away dust, so take that however you want.

Wilma’s evolution took a day longer than Olia’s, so while I waited for that, I decided to finally look into what happened with that spirit waterfall in Smorog. Aka. how did the thieves get past it?

So I summoned Thalassa and chatted with her for a while.

She vehemently denied the possibility that anyone without either the blessing or contract of a spirit, or those carrying the title Sacred Smith (Smorog) could get past the waterfall.

Which I did believe, but then I asked if she knew of spirits that would have blessed people like that. To which Thalassa replied that all of the superiors had been keeping a closer eye on their families after what happened with Cailie’s sister.

They didn’t want anyone corrupting their children after all.

So in short, we didn’t know anything.

But then I realized that the creature that attacked was part spirit. So I brought Thalassa over to it and asked if a contract with a creature like it could fool the waterfall into thinking that the people had a spirit contract.

And while Thalassa couldn’t confirm that it would work, she did say that it might work.

So since we, or in this case I, would test this, Thalassa agreed to make me two spirit-wall waterfalls. One in HomeBase, the other in the Factory.

I really need to work this stuff out, because artificial spirits that can fool the protection given by superior spirits cannot be good. Maybe they can even make artificial superior spirits, kind of like how Amilie tried to turn her greater spirit into a superior one. But these guys seem smarter, so they might actually succeed.

But back to Wilma.

Her evolution finished, and she was looking good. … yes, in multiple ways. She never looked bad, but seeing someone fresh after an evolution is just … something else.

Because an evolution removes all flaws in your skin, hair, and pretty much everything else, people after evolution look the best they’ll ever look. … or maybe the most natural they can ever look. Because I won’t be getting into debates about makeup.

But you don’t care about that, you care about her new race and her stats, right? I hope you do, because I do.

Spoiler

So yeah. Wilma is an advanced dwarf now. That isn’t a big change, just means she will get more stats per level basically.

But her class race is more interesting. Artificer is a combination of three other class races, Blacksmith, Craftswoman and Enchanter. Which means Wilma now has access to Advanced Crafting, which she already had because she was a Craftswoman. Metal Magic, from Blacksmith. But she didn’t get the racial variant, as she already had the better Spiritual Metal Magic thanks to Athena’s Blessing. But she did get Advanced Enchanting from being part Enchanter now.

Other than that, there isn’t much to it.

… but seeing her high Designing level does remind me. Can you evolve into a Designer? Probably not, right? I mean, the Designing skill is still basically brand new, from the System’s point of view. So they probably haven’t designed a Designer race. Nor an upgraded form of the Designing skill, other than Mental Visual Designing which is unlocked by other means.

“Master. I have come to you, as I need to confess something.” Agunan came to my office in the afternoon hours, just a bit before I called it a day and headed to the dining room for dinner.

“... what did you break?” I asked the dragon.

This wasn’t the first time he’d come to confess to breaking something, or destroying some part of HomeBase. Luckily these days he kept most of the destruction to the inside of the dungeon and he had even learned how to use his Dungeon Master terminal and how to fix most of the damage.

But from time to time, he went overboard and broke something he didn’t know how to fix, so he had to come to me and ask me to fix some issue.

“I didn’t break anything this time.” He responded, and I just stared at him, questioning if he was actually telling the truth. Because he doesn’t confess, unless he broke something. If he has done something else, he just reports it. “Master. Please don’t look at me like that.”

Agunan seemed to almost shrink into himself as I kept staring at him, but I had to make sure he wasn’t trying to avoid problems.

Not that I give him too much sass, even if he does something stupid like fighting the Sanga of the Thunder, Kazejin and Suijin, followed by Gate Guardian, followed by Dark Guardian boss that I made for the dungeon.

“... so, what do you need to confess then?” I asked.

The dragon shrunk even more, clearly not wanting to tell, but he got this far, he can admit to his faults.

“... I … I have given my blessing without your permission.” He quietly admitted.

“Your blessing?” I questioned at first, but then I realized what he meant. “You mean a dragon scale blessing?” I had to confirm.

“... Yes. I apologize that I did so without your permission.” Agunan said.

“No, it’s fine. I really don’t mind. But do tell, who did you bless?” I asked before I thought about it for a second and realized the answer. “... you blessed Ria, didn’t you?”

“... Yes, Master.” He admitted.

“When did you start and when will it be finished?” I asked. “Because if I recall correctly, a dragon scale blessing will almost always cause an evolution when it finishes.”

“... it will end tomorrow. That is why I came to confess. Not only did I give my blessing without your permission, I gave it to your slave. Both of us are your property, so we shouldn’t do things like these without your permission.”

“No. It is fine. I give you free rein for a reason. Just … next time, not that I think there will be a next time, tell me more than a day before, okay?”

“Yes Master. I shall.” Agunan responded, before bowing and leaving the room.

“... Well, at least I can warn Lua and have the MedBay prepared.” I muttered to myself as I quickly took care of this ‘issue’ before I headed for dinner.
