Chapter 128: What Will You Choose?

Meanwhile, both Sarah and Jessa had just come to their senses. Jessa was yet again enraged! Her little brother was really testing her patience! She then swept her gaze around as she immediately found her little brother.

"You brat! Are you really trying to kill me?!" Jessa hurriedly walked towards Ben to give him good beatings but before she could even do anything against him, she noticed Zach who was a distance away from Ben and was holding an axe of which edge was on the ground. She even noticed that in front of the axe was a long ravine. Did Zach cause it? Jessa was astonished. It seemed like his little brother's judgment was really correct. This man was really strong!

But Zach had his eyes closed tightly right now. He was even taking a deep breath from time to time. Jessa tilted her head accompanied by a furrowed eyebrows. She really wondered what the other party was currently doing. She shifted her gaze to Ben hoping for an explanation.

Ben noticed his elder sister's eyes that were seeking an answer as he sighed and said, "Maybe he is trying to concentrate?"

Ben, of course, didn't know what the other party was trying to do. Was the activation of the other party's bloodline really this long? If so, then, it must be useless! If this was in the battle, and he would take this long to prepare himself to activate his bloodline, then he might be killed before he could even open his eyes. This was really annoying!

But in reality, Zach was only trying to calm himself down. Activating his bloodline only needed a few moments to do. It was just that right now, his agitation was overwhelming preventing him to activate the bloodline properly.

"Then... Is that your axe? Why is it in him now?! Are you letting him borrow it?" Jessa asked.

"Sort of," Ben smiled slightly as he said, "In any case, I have told you that I will protect you no matter what. This Bone Axe came from me, and he will guard you even in your sleep. As long as I am alive, no one can hurt you!"

Jessa was touched. She really was proud to have such a little brother. She had even forgotten that she should be smacking the other party right now.

On the other hand, Sarah also walked closer to Ben and Jessa. And only then did she notice about her big brother. "What is Kuya doing?" Even she failed to understand what her big brother was doing right now.

Exactly after Jessa said those words, Zach opened his eyes and a strong aura was exuded out from him. His Weapon Energy had even shot up many times. His light brown skin turned white and sturdy as it was obvious that it had just become bones.

Zach then took a deep breath before he lifted the battle axe. And to his surprise, he really was able to! His eyes widened in shock before he let out a wide smile, "I did it!"

Although it was still a little heavy for him, with enough training, he felt that he would be accustomed to wielding this axe.

"Hmph! Don't be happy kid," Seeing the joy on Zach's face, Bone Axe II harrumphed coldly, "It's only because of master's bone within you that you can lift me!"

Zach didn't care about the other party though. All he wished now was to lift the battle axe. Now that he did it, he would surely be happy with that.

"Good..." On the other hand, seeing that it was a success, Ben nodded in satisfaction. After which, he waved his hand and the battle axe turned back to a piece of bone rib. "From now on, until I come back, you will recognize him as your master."

After he said those words, Ben raised his index and middle finger as the piece of bone rib freed itself from the hand of Zach and floated in the midair. Afterward, Ben moved his index and middle finger, and the piece of bone rib pierced to Zach's chest.

Zach screamed in pain. Even so, with some gritting of his teeth, he had managed to endure the pain that lasted for a good while.

"You can summon him at your will," After Zach had managed to endure the pain and was now gasping, he heard Ben speaking again from the side, "But you must be careful to use him to avoid uninvited troubles. If anyone greedy found that you have such a weapon, they may try their luck to rob him from you. They would definitely fail though. But it's better to be careful especially if the only thing you can do now is to lift him up."

Zach nodded slowly as he swallowed a mouthful of saliva. People might really try their luck to get his new weapon if they found out about it!

After clearing up his thoughts, he kneeled with one of his knee again in front of Ben as he said, "Thank you very much..." After a moment of pause, he added, "Can I know your name?"

It appeared that even after all what the other party had done to him, he was still yet to know his name. Zach was really embarrassed to himself.

"I'm Ben. Remember it all you want if you can." Ben replied lazily as he yawned after that.

"Ben..." Zach repeated his name. According to what he heard earlier, there was a curse in him that would make him forget everyone related to him and at the same time, those who were related to him would forget him as well. Zach really wondered where and how did he get that kind of curse. It really was a pity that he would forget this savior of his sooner or later.

After a few moments, Zach thought of something as he asked, "Then, can I call the weapon 'Ben'?"

Zach was thinking that by doing so, he could at least remember the goodwill of the other party.

"Whatever. Do what you want." Ben didn't care though. After which, he shifted his gaze to his elder sister and asked, "Let's go home?"

"Alright!" Jessa was happy as he turned her gaze to Sarah and said, "Since you have no place to go back anymore, and your brother had pledged loyalty to me, why not you come to us as well?!"

Sarah was speechless. Since her big brother would go and protect the other party, she would naturally come with them as well. Were there even other choices for her? Even so, she still forced her smile and replied, "Y-yes."

"Then, it's decided!" Jessa almost jumped up in joy as she shifted her gaze to the still unconscious ladies lying on the ground. "You boys should carry them!"

But just after she said those words, Ben was nowhere to be found anymore making Jessa's veins pop out on her head uncontollably. This brat really loved to run away from homework! But as helpless as she was, she could only shift her gaze to Zach as she ordered authoritatively, "What are you waiting for?! Hurry up and carry those ladies!"

"..." Zach was speechless. How could he carry all of them? It was not as if he could tie them up like logs right? At that moment, Zach could already see his dim future under the other party's wings.

Pfft... Sarah on the other hand suppressed her laugh. Her big brother had finally found his match.

"If your father and lover are both in danger, let's say your father is held hostage by the greatest criminal organization, Triangle of Sin, while your lover is trapped in a mountain full of beasts, and you only have one choice and have the capability, who will you save? Your father or..." The man's wide grin glowed in a dim room as he tapped the table in front of him twice with his finger before he continued, "Or your lover?"

"Hmmmm... Can I have the third choice?" The one who was asked, and was sitting on the other side of the table, replied leisurely. It was a little girl who wore a smile without feelings inlaid on it.

"Oh? So you want to save both of them?" The man asked. It was obvious that there was a hint of mockery in his sarcastic laugh. After a moment, he added, "You must learn that there are some things that you needed to choose between..."

"Oh? So that's the third choice." But before the man could even finish his words, the little girl interrupted him as she continued, "I will choose the fourth choice then."

"What do you mean?" The man frowned as his grin had disappeared without a trace.

"I won't choose anyone." The girl replied with the same expressionless smile. "Can I just let them die together?"

The man shuddered upon hearing it. This kid must be crazy!

"Is my answer correct?" The little girl asked. 

"You!" The man found his eyebrows twitching as he snorted coldly, "Of course not!"

"Why?"

"..." The man was lost for words. The purpose of the question was to test one's courage to choose. But this kid didn't even hesitate to give up both her father and lover. One must know that what she'd choose was the hardest thing to do! Giving up both father and lover? There was definitely no one sane in the world that would choose this!
