Chapter 118: I'll Kill Them All!
With Linfel's help, they were able to outrun the monsters. Still, Alvin was confused. "Wait, why are we running? Even if they catch us of this small Milia, it is not like anything bad will happen."
"True," Linfel agreed. "However, the dream will reset every time the Magus or Familiar fails to overcome their mental issues. If you let little Milia go, she will die, and the dream will start again. From the looks of it, this little Milia is the real one, or at least connected to the real one. Do you truly wish to start again and have to find this little Milia once more?"
Alvin quickly shook his head. "Forget it. By the way, you sure know a lot of what is happening, uh?"
"It is good that you think that," Linfel smiled back. "After all, everything I just said is theories. I could be totally wrong. Hahaha!"
Alvin's mouth twitched. "Fuck that."
*Bang!*
Suddenly, Linfel and Alvin hit some kind of invisible wall, preventing them from fleeing further. "What is this?"
"Probably the limit of the dream..." Linfel answered.
"Is that another one of your theories?" Alvin asked back, skeptical.
"Yeap!" and Linfel confirmed with a hint of shame.
Another one of those monsters got close. Alvin put little Milia behind him and summoned his gloves. "Oh, at least I can pretend I have Felia equipped even though she isn't here."
Right after, he punched forward, and an Earth Spike took form on his glove. The spike pierced through the monster's face, killing it instantly. No, killing it would be the wrong way to put it. The monster simply disappeared instead.
*Kabrum!*
Linfel's Lightning Strike hit another one, which also disappeared in the next second.
However, more and more of those monsters continued to come, all crazy to get little Milia at all costs. Because their back was closed, Alvin and Linfel couldn't flee anymore and got easily surrounded by the monsters.
*Boom, boom, crash, kabrum...*
They did their best to get rid of the monsters. Fortunately, the monsters themselves were very weak, mostly dying with a single hit. The problem was the numbers. It was quickly reaching a situation that Alvin and Linfel couldn't take care of them all alone.
"Milia!" Alvin shouted from the front. "Get up! We need your help."
Little Milia just growled slightly and didn't move. She averted her eyes from the monsters, only waiting for them to come and consume her.
"Is that how a member of the Floating Blades Faction should act? Is that why you came to take the Ventis Sect exam?" Alvin continued to try to call Milia's attention.
Hearing the Floating Blades Faction name, little Milia seemed to react for a moment, looking at Alvin. However, her eyes quickly turned blank as before and she looked away.
"Fuck!" Alvin cursed. "Why isn't she retaliating? Is this her mental issue?"
"These monsters probably represent something that Milia can't get rid of her mind, her mental demons," Linfel guessed. "They are too strong, so perhaps forcing her to face them isn't the right choice."
"Then what?" Alvin asked.
Linfel pondered a bit. "Right, how about you try to make Milia have a wet dream."
"What?!" Alvin was almost bitten by one of the monsters. "What the hell are you asking?!"
Linfel didn't find anything wrong. "You said wet dreams are good dreams, right? Can't you do something to make Milia have a wet dream instead?"
"I..." Alvin wanted to punch himself in the face. Sure, he was a man, and he had his fair share of fantasies with Milia's image. But... trying to do this in Milia's dream? Above all, the Milia behind him was obviously a kid, so it would look even worse.
It was then that Alvin had an idea. "She is still a woman... Linfel, hold the monster for a moment."
Linfel didn't know what Alvin intended to do, but he accepted. "Alright." His Soul Power increased, and that allowed him to have more power in Milia's dream as well. However, it was hard to control that state. "Be fast. I won't won't last more than a minute."
Alvin approached little Milia and looked at an empty space right in front of her. Whether she wished or not, she would see what was happening there since she was trying to avoid making eye contact with the monsters.
Then... another Milia appeared. This time, it was the big Milia, the same sixteen years old one. "If you wish, it shall happen..." Alvin murmured.
Little Milia seemed surprised for a moment, not expecting to see her big self there. However, what truly woke her up was what that big Milia did next. She... began to take off her clothes. Right in front of Alvin!
"Hey, baby," the Big Milia began to speak to Alvin. "This place seems so boring. How about we have some fun together."
Alvin smiled in satisfaction. "Oh, yeah! Why don't you come to my embrace, beauty?"
The Big Milia nodded, and just as she was about to take her underwear...
*Bang!*
*Arrrgh!*
Alvin was kicked and sent flying! At the same time, the almost naked Milia vanished like smoke.
"What the hell are you doing?! Are you looking to die?!" Spoke the little Milia, fuming! "It's, it's, it's still too early for us to do such things!!!"
Alvin tried to get up with some difficulty. "H-Hey... look who is back. Seems like you gave up your kid form as well."
Milia was taken aback as she looked at herself. She wasn't the Little Milia anymore, but her real self. Only then did she notice Linfel fighting the monsters, who went even crazier now that she was awake. "Ahhhh!" Milia immediately put her hands on her head while screaming. "Get away!"
Alvin rapidly approached Milia again. She began to show signs of returning to the little Milia form, and he didn't intend to let that happen. "Do you want to get rid of them?"
"Yes," Milia nodded, trembling.
Alvin smiled and patted her head. "Then let's beat them. Look at me."
Milia faced Alvin, although she was still scared.
"I'm here," Alvin explained. "All you need to do is beat them. If any of them show any sign of hurting you, I will beat them for you. Simply, right? We are members of the Floating Blades Faction. What could some weak monsters do to us?"
"But..." Milia wasn't confident.
"Look," Alvin made Milia face Linfel's direction. "The wisp is here too. You know what that thing is capable of, don't you? We are both here, so why fear what you can simply destroy?"
"Calling me a thing is very rude!" Linfel complained as he got rid of another monster.
Still, Milia didn't seem to want to go. So... Alvin had to give a final push. "Hum... I wonder what you look like without your underwear. Let's fantasize another one."
*Bang!*
In the next second, Milia kicked one of the monsters. "I'll kill them all!"
