Ultimate Choice System: I Became The Richest!

Chapter 198 New House, Hidden Choice Completed!

After picking up Caroline and Emily, David handed his phone to Noah while waiting at a red light.

"Here, put the address of the apartment you're talking about on the maps," David said, glancing at him briefly.

Noah grabbed the phone and unlocked it. "Alright, let me just pull it up."

Caroline leaned forward from the back seat. "What's the address again?"

Noah smirked. "I'd tell you, but I think it's better for you to see it."

Emily, sitting beside Caroline, rolled her eyes dramatically. "Always keeping secrets, just say it."

Noah chuckled as he typed the address into the phone. "Alright, done. GPS is set. Don't miss the next left turn, Dad."

David nodded. "Got it."

As they drove, Caroline glanced at the screen. "How far is it from here?"

"About twenty minutes," Noah replied, leaning back in his seat.

Emily piped up, her voice filled with curiosity. "Does it have a big kitchen?"

"Why the kitchen?" Caroline asked with a chuckle. "Are you planning to cook there?"

Emily shook her head with a serious expression. "No, but it's important for snacks. You need a good kitchen to keep snacks organized, our current kitchen doesn't have that. So hopefully, our new one does."

Noah laughed. "Don't worry, Em. I made sure your snack empire has a proper headquarters."

Emily grinned. "Good. That's all I need."

As they pulled into the neighbourhood, Caroline peered out the window. "This area is nice. Quiet, but not too far from the main roads."

David nodded in agreement. "It does look good. Let's see the apartment first, though."

Emily looked out, scanning the area. "Do they have a park here? I like parks."

"They do," Noah said, pointing at a green patch visible in the distance. "See? Over there."

Emily nodded, satisfied.

When they arrived at the building, David parked the car and everyone got out. They stood for a moment, taking in the modern design of the complex.

"This building looks beautiful, are you sure we will be able to afford it, Noah?" Caroline said, with a soft frown on her face.

"Mom, I can assure you that we can afford this. It seems like Dad hasn't been sharing our revenue from the teahouse with you." Noah said with a smirk.

David scratched the back of his head. "I do, she is just so used to our old lifestyle. She hasn't adjusted yet."

Caroline looked at him for a second and sighed.

"You are right, let's check this place out then."

As they approached the doors of the building, David glanced at Noah and asked, "So, when is your friend going to come? He's the one showing us the place, right?"

Noah tilted his head slightly. "Why does he need to come? I've been here before, and I have the keys. I'll show you the place myself."

David frowned, slightly surprised. "You have the keys already?"

"Yeah," Noah replied casually, pulling a sleek key card from his pocket. "It's not a big deal. Come on, let's head inside."

The entrance to the building was nothing short of luxurious. The reception area was adorned with tasteful plants and modern artwork. A concierge desk sat to the side, but no one was currently there.

Caroline's eyes widened in awe as she took in the space. "Wow, this place is beautiful. I feel like I'm stepping into a hotel."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Emily, on the other hand, dashed ahead, her little feet echoing in the quiet lobby. "Mom! Dad! Look at this! There's even a little waiting area with fancy chairs!"

David nodded appreciatively as he looked around. "This is... quite something."

Noah gestured toward the elevators. "As you can see, the building itself is large and well-maintained. The apartments here are best on either the first floor or the top floor. Which one do you want to see first?"

Caroline and David exchanged glances before David said, "Let's start with the first floor. Seems practical on days when the elevator is on maintenance or something."

"Alright," Noah said, leading the way to the elevator.

Noah nodded and gestured toward the elevators. "Alright, first floor it is. Follow me."

Emily darted ahead but stopped as she reached the elevator doors, pressing the button with excitement.

"Can I press it again when we go to the top floor?" she asked, glancing back at Noah.

"Sure, Em," Noah said with a small smile as the elevator chimed and the doors slid open.

They all stepped inside, the spacious and modern elevator lit with soft white lights. Emily immediately went for the button labelled "1" and pressed it.

Caroline chuckled. "You'd think we were touring a mansion the way she's acting."

Noah smirked. "Well, this building is practically a mansion stacked vertically."

The elevator ride was brief, and soon the doors opened to reveal a wide corridor with polished floors and walls painted in neutral tones.

Noah led the way, pulling out a key card. "This way. The apartment is just around the corner."

As they entered the apartment, Caroline and David both paused, taking in the space.

The living room was open and inviting, with large windows allowing natural light to flood the area. The furniture was modern and elegant. The kitchen was sleek with marble countertops and state-of-the-art appliances.

Caroline walked toward the kitchen, her hand trailing over the smooth surface of the counter. "This is… really impressive, Noah."

Emily, meanwhile, dashed into the living room and flopped onto the plush couch. "This is so soft! Do I get a couch like this if we move here?"

David nodded, a small smile on his face as he took in the spacious living area. "It's nice. Feels homely without being cramped."

Noah gestured toward the hallway. "Wait until you see the bedrooms. There are two master bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms, and a third smaller room that could work as an office or guest room."

"By smaller I mean smaller than the two large rooms, but the room is large in its own regard."

Caroline peeked into the master bedroom closest to the living room. The bed was neatly made, and the view from the window was of a small garden courtyard.

"Wow, the natural light here is amazing," she remarked. "And look at this closet space!"

David followed, inspecting the attached bathroom. "This bathroom is a lot larger than our current one at home. What do you think, Caroline?"

"I think it's perfect," she replied, her tone almost wistful. "But we haven't even seen the top floor yet."

Returning to the elevator, Emily eagerly pressed the button for the top floor. "I can't wait to see the view from up there!"

When they reached the penthouse level, Noah led them to another apartment. This one, however, was significantly larger. The living room alone was nearly double the size of the one on the first floor, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic view of the city skyline.

Caroline's breath hitched as she walked toward the windows. "Oh my... Noah, this view is breathtaking."

David wandered into the kitchen, nodding in approval at the larger layout and upgraded appliances. "This is... incredible," he admitted. "It's more than I was expecting."

Emily, on the other hand, found the balcony and gasped. "There's a small pool out here!" she squealed. "A rooftop pool!"

Noah leaned against the doorframe, watching his family explore. "So, what do you think? First floor or top floor?"

Caroline turned to him, her face conflicted. "For a family, the first floor makes more sense. But if we're aiming for luxury, this is unmatched."

Emily, of course, was firmly team penthouse. "The top floor! We need the pool!"

Noah chuckled. "Alright, alright. Let's weigh the pros and cons. But first, let's sit down and enjoy the view while we decide."

After sitting down in the expansive living room of the penthouse, they began discussing it further.

Caroline leaned back into the plush sofa, her expression contemplative. "Noah, this place is incredible, but... the last floor? What if something happens to the elevator? It could be a hassle."

David nodded in agreement. "She's right. Imagine if the elevator breaks down. How are we supposed to go up and down all these floors? Especially with groceries or if Emily gets tired."

Emily piped up, "But Dad, there's a pool! You can't say no to a pool!"

Noah smiled as he leaned forward slightly. "I understand your concerns, and they're valid. But let me reassure you—this building has one of the best maintenance teams in the city. I've already spoken to the management, and they have a 24/7 service team for any issues, including the elevator."

Caroline raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And you trust them?"

"Completely," Noah said confidently. "My friend is trustworthy, he will ensure that the maintenance is top-notch. He guaranteed me that the building would remain in perfect condition. Nothing will go unchecked."

Caroline glanced around the room again, her gaze settling on the breathtaking view of the city. "It is tempting. This place is... well, it's perfect."

Emily clapped her hands, her face lighting up. "Does that mean we're taking it?"

Caroline looked at David, who met her gaze with a small, resigned smile. "What do you think, hon?"

She smiled softly, reaching out to take his hand. "I think we should go for it. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

David exhaled, nodding. "Alright. Let's do it."

Emily let out a cheer, running to hug her mom and dad. "Yes! Pool time!"
