Top-Tier Superpower Student

Chapter 93 Surprise

After tying up the dog, Lin Tian carried the completely immobile dog outside.

Once on the street, Lin Tian hailed a taxi and then asked the driver to take him to the best veterinary clinic in the city.

An hour later, Lin Tian exited the veterinary clinic, carrying a large dog cage with a Doberman barking wildly inside.

"What are you barking at!" Lin Tian glared at it, speaking with some impatience.

Upon hearing Lin Tian's scolding, the Doberman's barking instantly quieted down.

After glaring at the dog, Lin Tian shook his head, his expression somewhat helpless, and hailed another taxi to continue to the next veterinary clinic.

In this seemingly upscale veterinary clinic, Lin Tian found nothing.

Because the veterinarians simply couldn't pinpoint the dog's problem.

The examinations all seemed normal, but the dog was just aggressive, very ferocious. Reluctantly, Lin Tian could only try other clinics to see if there was any hope.

Half an hour later, Lin Tian came out of another veterinary clinic with a face full of helplessness, still carrying the dog cage.

Couldn't find the cause!

Here, too, couldn't find the cause!

Out of options, Lin Tian could only go elsewhere to look.

Within a few hours, Lin Tian had visited five or six veterinary clinics to get the dog examined, even skipping his lunch because of this.

It was exhausting, but he gained nothing.

None of the clinics could determine why the dog was behaving this way.

After so many visits to different clinics, Lin Tian was feeling rather despondent.

Lin Tian sat down in front of a lawn, looking tired and muttering to himself, "If we can't find the cause, what are we supposed to do?"

Lin Tian's brow furrowed deeply, a look of confusion on his face, "If we can't find the cause, how am I supposed to treat the dog?" He looked skeptical and dissatisfied.

As he pondered, a lightbulb went off in Lin Tian's mind, and he hesitantly said, "'Could it be...'"

Since none of the veterinarians could find the issue with the dog, it probably wasn't something normal remedies could fix.

In that case...

A spark of inspiration flashed in Lin Tian's mind. He thought of something!

Level Zero Healing Water!

Lin Tian thought of the Level Zero Healing Water that had helped him numerous times before.

Although the Healing Water was only Level Zero, it had already proven its efficacy multiple times.

"Should I really use Healing Water? That's a whole Superpower Point!" Exchanging a Superpower Point for Level Zero Healing Water was something Lin Tian was really reluctant to part with.

Most importantly, if the Healing Water didn't work, it would mean wasting a Superpower Point.

After hesitating for a moment, Lin Tian still couldn't make up his mind.

He then took the dog to yet another clinic to have a look.

Two hours later, Lin Tian was really tired and didn't want to continue any longer.

It was useless; over these two hours, Lin Tian took the dog to several other veterinary clinics.

But all were unsuccessful.

"Forget it, if you don't throw the child, you can't catch the wolf. Let's give it a try!" Out of options, Lin Tian clenched his teeth and exchanged for a bottle of Healing Water.

Looking at the thumb-sized bottle of Level Zero Healing Water in his palm, Lin Tian clenched his teeth, opened the cage, and shoved it into the Doberman's mouth!

Lin Tian poured all the Healing Water into its mouth and cursed fiercely, "Damn! If this doesn't work, I'm going to kill you and make dog stew!"

After throwing the empty bottle aside, Lin Tian stood up and stared at the Doberman.

He was startled to see that the Doberman seemed to be poisoned, trembling non-stop.

Lin Tian was shocked, slightly stunned, "There shouldn't be any issues, even if it doesn't work, it shouldn't be causing problems."

Just as Lin Tian was puzzling over this, he seemed to notice something different about the Doberman.

It appeared... its fur seemed darker and glossier?

It seemed a bit taller?

Because the change was so slight, Lin Tian didn't know whether the dog had really grown taller.

And just as Lin Tian was puzzled, the dog stopped trembling and became calm.

"Woof!" the Doberman barked, raising its head to look at Lin Tian.

On catching the Doberman's eyes, Lin Tian was taken aback, then his face lit up with joy.

Black!

The Doberman's eyes had turned black, no longer the blood-red they had been initially.

Moreover, Lin Tian noticed that the Doberman's gaze was very lively, shimmering with a gleam of intelligence.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Clearly, this dog was very intelligent!

"Are you alright?" Lin Tian asked the dog, somewhat surprised.

"Whimper~" The Doberman called out softly, its voice filled with grievance.

Grievance, it was indeed grievance!

Lin Tian heard the grievance from its mouth, just like a child pleading for forgiveness from an adult after a wrongdoing.

At seven in the evening, Liu Ruoyu sat alone on the windowsill, holding a doll in her arms.

Liu Ruoyu pouted slightly as she looked outside, her expression somewhat aggrieved.

She had just asked her parents to bring Yangyang back. But they had scolded her instead, saying Yangyang had gone mad and they didn't want it anymore.

They also said that Yangyang was definitely taken away by the municipal authorities and told her to stop thinking about it.

This made her quite unhappy.

Liu Ruoyu gripped the doll tightly in her hand, gazing down at the apartment complex below.

Normally, she could often see Yangyang running on the green strip beneath the complex from here. But now...

The thought made her deeply sad, pondering that she might never see Yangyang again. Her nose started to feel sore, and tears were about to fall.

"Oh, I wonder where Yangyang is now? Has he eaten anything? Was he really captured by the municipal authorities..." Liu Ruoyu thought quietly.

"How wonderful it would be if Yangyang appeared right now!" she thought, somewhat wistfully.

But she knew this was almost impossible.

After a while, she thought of the older brother she had met during the day.

She thought of Lin Tian.

She felt Lin Tian was very impressive, even though he had hit Yangyang. Lin Tian was indeed impressive.

"Didn't he say he would help me? That he would cure Yangyang's illness? Could it be..." a flicker of hope crossed her eyes as she thought.

However, the hope faded quickly.

She had told her parents the same, but they adamantly told her that Lin Tian was deceiving her.

Liu Ruoyu, though young, knew that what Lin Tian had promised was nearly impossible to achieve.

"Oh, if only it were true!" the girl thought, her face filled with sadness.

She gently stroked the doll in her arms, lowering her head and whispering softly to it: "Huahua, Yangyang is gone, do you miss him too? I miss him a lot."

"Sigh!" The girl sighed again, her eyes somewhat lifeless as she looked downward.

Suddenly, the girl was startled, she stared for a moment, her eyes fixed, hardly believing what she saw.

What, what was that?

She saw a shadow, a familiar shadow.

It was a dog, a black Doberman!

"Yangyang!?" Liu Ruoyu got up excitedly.

"Woof, woof!" Seemingly hearing Liu Ruoyu's voice, the Doberman stopped in its tracks, crouched down, and raised its head to bark up at Liu Ruoyu.

Just then, a figure also approached from afar.

On seeing him, Liu Ruoyu realized it was the older brother who had promised to help her during the day.
