The Strongest Assassin Reincarnates in Another World

Chapter 410 - Bo, The Crazy Scientist (V)

The syringe was so big that Aiden had difficulty believing what he was seeing. He blinked a few times, making sure that he wasn't dreaming, but no…everything was real.n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

The syringe was probably around an arm's size, and Aiden had no idea how it would be entering his arm.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Aiden asked, as he wasn't sure anymore if staying here was a good idea.

The rest of the potions he had given him were great, making him stronger and stronger, and there was also a chance that this would make him a lot stronger. However, Aiden wasn't sure if he wanted to take that risk.

"Of course, it's a good idea!" Bo shouted as loudly as he could.

This man in front of him was too good to be letting go. His reactions were perfect, and his synergy with all his potions seemed perfect. There was no reason not to test this one on him.

'Should I do this?' Aiden thought as he knew that he could still use Mana at any time.

There was just one small problem…there was no telling about the liquid's effect. If it was instant, or if it were to kill him…then Aiden wouldn't be able to do anything against it.

Normally, he would have tried to ask the system for some help, wondering if it might know something about this situation, but he didn't want to rely on it anymore. So, he kept his mouth shut as the syringe started getting closer and closer to him.

He could see it, and he still wondered how it would be entering his arm since it was so big, but he decided to stop thinking and closed his eyes.

Either way, he needed to get stronger. He had seen the previous effects, and he believed that the liquid would make him a lot stronger once more.

-Splush!

The syringe finally entered his arm and for a few moments…Aiden didn't feel any different than before. The pain he was feeling seemed exactly the same as before.

In fact, it was weird, but he felt even better than before. The amount of energy contained in the syringe was clearly massive, and Aiden was slowly feeling it spreading throughout his entire body.

He heard a few dings in his ears as he glanced upwards once more.

[You have gained 20 Strength.]

[You have gained 20 Agility.]

[You have gained 20 Charm.]

He looked into Bo's eyes with no emotion. He didn't want to show how he felt receiving such energy because he wanted to receive another dose of whatever that was.

'Wait…do I even need him?' Aiden suddenly thought.

"So, how do you feel? Any different?" He asked.

There was this glim in his eyes that made Aiden feel unsure of what he needed to say.

"No, everything is the same. Was I supposed to feel different from this?"

However, this time, it didn't seem to work as Bo's eyes widened instantly. He couldn't believe what he had just heard.

"Y-You…Are you sure that you didn't feel anything? You don't feel stronger? Weaker? Anything at all?"

Aiden kept a smile on his face as he continued to lie through his teeth. It felt extremely good tricking the man in front of him as he had no idea of what was currently happening.

"What is this liquid?" Aiden finally asked as this was the most logical question he could ask.

Bo tapped his foot as he walked around his laboratory over and over again. He did that for a few seconds, glancing a few times toward Aiden, unsure what to think.

'This dosage should have surely provoked a reaction…so why is it that he's still not feeling anything?'

Questions arose into the scientist's mind as he was asked another question from Aiden.

"Can you still hear me?"

Realizing that he had drifted off from the current situation, Bo looked back toward Aiden unsure of what to do next. The last experiment he had just made would break most of his subjects and Aiden had came out completely unscathed, it was truly weird.

"Ah…yes, yes, what did you say?"

"What is that thing you're giving me?" Aiden repeated, this time, awaiting a clear answer.

He already had a small idea as to what it was, but Aiden still wanted to hear more from the man in front of him.

"It's…uh…a drug. But for some reason, it doesn't have any effects on you."

Aiden nodded and said, "And what is that drug supposed to do?"

Aiden had completely stopped acting scared from the man in front of him, and had decided to take another avenue of actions. He wanted to know everything about this liquid since it could potentially make him much much stronger than he could have ever dreamed of.

"It's supposed to make you stronger, though, there are some side-effects but from the looks of it… Those aren't something that you should be worried with."

"Stronger?" Aiden repeated. "Why would give me something to make me stronger, aren't I a prisoner?"

"It's for TESTS! Obviously, it's for tests…this drug isn't ready to be given to humans. However, you're different, you have no reaction to it. Tell me, where do you come from?"

Aiden smirked. "Somewhere far away from here. That's for sure."

For some reason, Aiden wasn't feeling as scared of the scientist as before. He felt like he could leave whenever he wanted. However, there was one thing he would do before leaving, and that was take as much of that drug as possible.

"Ah…whatever, if you don't want to tell me…then don't, it's only a question of time."

Bo was completely sure that Aiden had no way of leaving this cage since it was resistant enough to resist attacks that are powered from Qi…so what could someone who doesn't have access to it even do.

"Have a good night of sleep…I'll be testing you some more tomorrow."

It was strange, Bo looked troubled…as if having no idea of what to do next.

Still, since Bo was leaving, it was finally time for Aiden to make his move. He wasn't planning on spending the night here, that's for sure.
