Chapter 404 - A Gigantic Forest
Aiden was now on the other side of the portal, and he wasn't exactly sure where he was. He knew that he had arrived in the Cultivation World…or at least, he believed that's what had just happened. However, there was no real way for him to find out.
He was in the middle of nowhere with trees surrounding him.
'Well, it was a little stupid of me to think I would have arrived directly into the Dual Cultivation Sect…'n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
Either way, finding his way…shouldn't be that hard, considering he could fly. Normally, it shouldn't be that complicated.
'Still, I need to find Wu Lan. The moment I tell her I'm the Reaper, she should help me, right?' Aiden thought.
It was a complete gamble for Aiden. However, he had no choice but to take it. He knew that visiting the past worlds from his trials would be the way for him to keep growing stronger and stronger without any stops.
'I wonder if she'll be okay… Let's hope that everything will be going well for her.'
Aiden dismissed all the thoughts that he had gathered regarding Emma as he needed to focus on the task ahead of him.
It was time for him to become stronger and stronger as fast as he possibly could because the founding families would probably put pressure on a lot of people for the purpose of finding him.
'At least, there's Jake. No one will be able to fuck with him. There's a reason he isn't in a founding family.'
Jake was much more powerful than the heads of the founding families. That's why no one had tried recruiting him. However, he would still have to be very careful if they were to all gang up on him. Luckily for him, no one should know about their location.
They were in the middle of nowhere, living in a literal cave.
Who could find them?
The answer to that was simple: No one.
No one would be able to find them, that is…unless someone betrays them.
'Fuck, I should have warned her about Ava a little more. That girl is full of problems. Ah…I left too fast. I should have tidied everything before leaving,' Aiden sighed, knowing that he had been too impatient.
It was just the news about the founding families declaring war against him that had caused him to make such rash decisions. However, he didn't regret it because he would have gone to those worlds even if they hadn't done anything.
There was just one thing that was on Aiden's mind right now.
'Why did Melinda join them? Why did she join hands with the Nightshades?'
That was the one thing that Aiden hadn't liked from this piece of news. The fact that Melinda had betrayed him.
'Even if I refused to meet with the Nightshades…this is…next level. She exposed my identity for everyone to know when she showed my face to Sylas. Now, everyone knows that I was a Nightshade since the very beginning.'
It made things complicated for Aiden, but he had already planned to attack the Nightshade Family ever since he had arrived in this world. The only difference right now compared to before is that he would have to exterminate not only the Nightshades but the rest of them.
Becoming the one at the very top of Nova. The one who would be in control of this world.
And then the next after that will be to take over the Lumithar's World. However, there was just one little problem with that… the fact that Aiden had made a deal with them, which made sure that he wouldn't be able to kill them or hurt them as a whole.
He would have to find a way to ignore the contract. However, he had no idea as to how he would be doing such a thing.
"Ah…so many things to think about. However, none of them will matter when I'm in this world," Aiden muttered as he was now high up in the air, glancing at his surroundings.
He seemed to be in the middle of nowhere as there were only trees surrounding him from all over.
"How will I be able to find the Dual Cultivation Sect?" Aiden muttered as he started moving to his left.
His plan was to try and spot some humans that would be able to guide him in this gigantic world.
Hours passed by, and Aiden was starting to get tired from the constant flying as he could feel his Qi running low.
He would have no choice but to go down and sleep in the woods tonight because…yes. He was still in the woods. He hadn't spotted a single human village, sect, or whatever you might call it.
He hadn't seen any signs of life for the past hours.
'Let's hope that there aren't any weird things in this forest…' Aiden thought as he couldn't but think that it was ridiculously big.
Hell, he had been flying over it for hours in the same direction, and he hadn't managed to see something other than fucking trees. It was starting to get too much.
One thing was sure. Tomorrow, he would have to find another plan to find the Dual Cultivation Sect.
'Wait, Dual Cultivation? Will I have to have sex to get stronger? Isn't that their specialty?' Aiden thought as he remembered the amount of times he had slept with Wu Lan in the short amount of time he had spent in this world.
Aiden finally landed on the ground as he quickly utilized his mana to make himself comfortable. He made a small layer of mana for him to fall asleep on. That way, he wouldn't be directly against the ground.
'Let's hope that nothing comes and annoys me while I sleep…' Aiden thought as he laid down on the layer of mana he had created and fell asleep like a baby because of how exhausted he was.
A few minutes passed by, and a multitude of roars woke him up in the middle of the night.
