The Martial Sages fought a devastating battle that unleashed a tsunami of seismic radiation upon the entirety of the world. A battle that would determine the future of all of human civilization.

A battle that would determine the fate of the Kandrian Empire.

One moment, they were fighting with every ounce of power they were able to squeeze out of the very root of their being.

The very next moment, they froze.

Each and every one of them froze where they stood.

They froze as they felt a horrifying gaze wash over them.

They froze as they felt a horrifying rage wash over them. An inhuman gaze.

A monstrous fury.

It sent chills across their skin.

It sent shivers down their spines.

And in that moment, they remembered what it felt like.

They remembered the fear of weakness.

The terror of being the prey instead of the predator.

The horror of being at the mercy of a being at a higher dimension of power.

It gripped their hearts, filling them with dread. Their breathing grew labored and shackled while each and every one of them broke into a cold sweat.

Only one of them was able to maintain his steely composure.

The Devil's eyes shifted as he turned his piercing gaze in the direction of the Beast Domain.

And that was when it happened.

That was when they heard it. That was when they heard the single most horrifying roar that swept throughout all of heaven and earth and space and time.

They shivered with pure horror as the wrath of the abomination swept over them. They shook with terror as the single most horrifying sound that they had ever heard in their entire life bombarded their minds.

They weren't the only ones.

The roar spread across all of human civilization.

It invoked nothing short of pure, unadulterated horror in each and every human that beheld it.

And just like that, an inferno of hysteria and horror grasped the masses.

"SAVE ME! SOMEBODY SAVE ME!"

The very fabric of human civilization began tearing as an avalanche of terror and horror swept across every human. It swept across every single person.

It swept across every single village.

Every single polity

Every single state.

Streets were filled with riots, mass exoduses, upheavals, and a maelstrom of chaos so great that the even the Conqueror of Chaos had the audacity to flash a crooked grin from within the depths of Great Nam Ocean despite the horror of what was unfolding.

The world shook as a devastating wave of beasts and monsters emerged from the depths of the Beast Domain in a frenzied rampage.

Each of the seventy-five Sages, frozen in a malaise of horror and terror, shook where they stood as their powerful senses reached the rumbling Beast Domain hundreds of thousands of kilometers away.

Their eyes widened with horror as they beheld a wave of darkness emerging from within the depths of the Beast Domain.

Normally, they could not perceive anything over such great distances.

However, the sheer magnitude and intensity of what was unfolding was so astronomically great that they were able to perceive what was happening.

And that was why the full horror of what was happening dawned on them.

And that was why the sheer gravity of the situation bore down on them.

They understood.

They were able to parse the complete terror of the apocalypse that had commenced.

They were able to fathom the nightmare that had descended upon the Age of Martial Art.

They were able to feel it in their bones.

A hell unto itself.

A hell that emerged from the depths of the Beast Domain, sweeping over all of human civilization.

"The Britannian Empire…" Sage Knight Vermillion whispered with horror in her eyes. "It will be wiped out…!"

The other Sage Knights of the Britannian Empire froze with terror in their eyes as they realized the sheer peril and gravity of the situation. The Britannian Empire was extremely close to the Beast Domain.

It would undoubtedly be the first to be ravaged by the shocking emergence of the tide of beasts that emerged from the depths of the Beast Domain. Furthermore, in his maddened determination to wipe out the Kandrian Empire, the Prime Minister of the Britannian Empire had deployed each and every single Sage Knight of the Britannian Empire to destroy the Kandrian Empire! n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

Without the protection of its greatest protectors, it would not be able to withstand the horrifying wave of destruction that was rapidly surging towards them!

The same was true for the a lot of the other allied Sages of the East Panamic Treaty Alliance. Many of their nations were generally on the western side of East Panama, closer to the Beast Domain than the nations of the Kandrian Alliance.

With the sheer intensity and frenzy of the rampage, none of their nations would be safe from the horrifying wave of beasts and monsters that had begun to sweep across all of humanity!

That realization ended the battle.

Before the fate of all of human civilization, the battle was not worth their commitment.

A singular resolution flashed through all of them as each of the forty-two Martial Sages of the East Panamic Treaty Alliance raced back in the direction of their respective nations with grave desperation.

It had already swallowed up and annihilated the few settlements and villages that rested at the very periphery of human civilization as well as the countless guild offices of the Adventurer's Guild.
