Chapter 202: Audrey sandwiched between Alex and Damien
Chapter - 202
"Dude, this is messed up. I can't believe we're actually doing this. Stalking her? Seriously? If we are caught, we won't get out of it easily," Alex and Damien rode Alex's motorcycle and followed behind Audrey's car as soon as she left the house.
"Oh, come on, Alex! Don't be such a buzzkill. It's not like we're doing anything harmful. I just want to find out more about this Audrey girl and see what she's up to," Damien gently tapped Alex's shoulder and urged him to hurry up.
"I get it, curiosity can be compelling, but this feels wrong. On top of that, if we are caught, it won't end up with just a beating. Haven't you been on the internet lately? Even looking at girls in the gym apparently is a crime these days," Alex spoke up as he drove.
"Look, Alex, I get it. But Mom is involved in this. I want to find out every nook and cranny about this girl who appeared out of nowhere," Damien said, "And you get beat up in the process. I am sure it's worth the sacrifice. Don't you think?"
"Why will only I get beat up? Aren't you Mom's son as well? You better not be thinking of dropping everything on me and running away at the time of crisis," Alex looked back at his brother.
"What? What kind of a big brother are you? Will you let just any Tom, Dick and Harry beat me up?" Damien played the reversal on his brother, playing the big brother card.
"You know that this is not very convincing. And you may be my brother, but I am not getting a beating for stalking a girl you are interested in..."
"... If that girl finds out that we are stalking her, Mom will definitely hear about it," Alex reminded Damien, "And nothing can be scarier than her."
"Fine, I will protect you from Mom. But for now, keep following her. Keep your distance and be careful. We don't want Audrey to find us out." Damien hardly cared about his mother
As Alex and Damien continued following Audrey, Audrey's car finally stopped by the roadside. And in front of them, a girl wearing a super tight skirt got into the car.
The car moved again, and Alex and Damien continued to follow Audrey. And following her, the two of them ended up in a pub, where Audrey and her friend met up with another bunch of girls.
Alex and Damien hid in a corner, keeping a watchful eye on Audrey.
"Look, Damien, Audrey seems like any other normal girl. She's just hanging out with her friends, having a good time. Maybe she's not as bad as you think," Alex said, "Let's go back."
"It's way too early to jump to conclusions, Alex. We need to keep observing. People can have a different side to them that they hide from the world," Damien pulled Alex back into the chair, "Maybe she knows that we are here, and that is why she is acting normal."
"If she knows, then all the more reason for us to leave," Alex told Damien, "And if she doesn't and ends up finding out that we've been following her? It'll be a disaster!"
"Relax, Alex. We're being careful, remember? We're not getting too close. And we're making sure she doesn't notice us. We'll be fine. Let's continue for a while."
Time passed, and as the night progressed, Audrey and her friends continued to enjoy themselves at the pub. They danced, laughed, and engaged in lively conversations. Alex and Damien, on the other hand, remain hidden. Damien focused entirely on Audrey while Alex enjoyed the beer in his hand, which was one of many.
"Seriously man. Now let's stop with this Shenanigan. We've been here for over an hour, and all we've seen is that Audrey is having a good time with her friends. And you are making me sit in a corner with this beer which tastes like piss..."
"Just a little longer, Alex. I have a feeling there's something more to Audrey than what meets the eye. We can't give up now. We've come this far already," Damien still persisted.
"Fuck with your feeling," Alex was already a bit drunk. He angrily told Damien. But he kept his tone down, "After all this, you are still asking for more time? Fuck... I think you are using Mom as an excuse... You are actually into that girl."
"Hell no... Who do you think I am?" Damian asked, his tone righteous.
"Pervert. Stalker. A peeping tom... Well, you fit all of them,"
"You..."
"You two rats..."
As Alex and Damien huddled together in the corner, fighting it out among themselves, a sudden tap on their shoulders jolts them with a start. They turn around, their eyes widening in surprise to see a burly man standing there, his presence casting an intimidating shadow.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here? Two sneaky little rats trying to play James Bond, huh? What's the deal, fellas? Spill the beans!" The big blurry man with his arms crossed across his chest asked.
"Uh, um, hey there, buddy. We were just, uh, you know, minding our own business. Not doing anything shady, I swear!" Alex replied, looking at the man, "Holy shit, look at your arms. As these really yours?" Alex tried to touch the mans biceps.
"Knock it off, big brother," Damien hurriedly pulled Alex's hand and smiled awkwardly at the big man, "Yeah, yeah, exactly what he said! We were just, um, taking a breather and, um, observing the... uh, surroundings. No harm intended, dude!"
"Observing the surroundings, huh? Do you guys think you're smooth or something? Well, let me tell you, this ain't no spy movie, kids. You're messing with the wrong crowd." The big man ruffling his beard, tried to intimidate the brothers.
"Sir, yes, sir," Alex nodded, "We were just having a good time, drinking and enjoying the music."
"Yeah, man, we're just... you know, checking out the girls, you know. We are just two single men trying to hook up with a nice girl. I mean... Not one girl for the both of us. One girl for each one of us.
Two girls in total. It's not like we are into, you know, that sandwich shit."
"Yeah... Imagine looking at your younger brother naked," Alex nodded like a wise old man, "That's gross."
"Well, all in all, we didn't mean to cause trouble, honestly," Damien concluded, "And if you want, we can leave as well."
"Trouble, huh? Well, I will decide that. But you should've thought twice before sticking your noses where they don't belong. Now, follow me outside. We need to have a little chat away from prying eyes," The big man said and walked out of the club.
