Chapter 617: Chapter 611: I Want It

This thing isn’t cheap at all, a piece costs 10 star credits, more expensive than any of the weapons that Dunn Monty just used. And it is single-use only.

“How much of it do you have?” Finn Lewis pointed at the items in the cabinet and asked.

“Sir, you interested?” A shop worker noticeably perked up and quickly asked. This item is usually not used even once in a decade because its power is too great and opportunities to use it are not many. Basically, almost no one buys it. The situation in their chaos-filled Death Star may be messed up but it has its own certain order. You can carry some weapons for self-defense, but there is simply no opportunity to use this high-powered weapon.

But since they have displayed it here, they naturally dare to sell it without any fear of its power.

“Yes, I want it.” Finn Lewis nodded. Dunn Monty, standing nearby, stared at the item, opened his mouth but eventually didn’t say anything.

“Sir, how much do you want?” The shop worker asked promptly.

“How many do you have?” Finn Lewis asked.

“Well, we have quite a lot, about 100 left.” The shop worker responded quickly.

“I’ll take them all.” Finn Lewis thought for a moment and decisively said, it’s only 1000 star credits! But if the destructive power of this thing is truly that massive, fuck, next time someone tries to assassinate me, I’ll blast them with this. After all, Finn currently has Katsumoto Body Protection, this shouldn’t be able to hurt him.

“A—all… All of it?” The worker nearly dropped his jaw. That’s… 200,000… enough to buy a mech. Why would anybody buy so much of this? Could it be to bring it somewhere and cause destruction?

But soon, he shrugged it off, whether or not this was for destructive purposes had nothing to do with him. Anyways, it had nothing to do with him. There were plenty of people causing chaos in the Death Star, other people would naturally handle it, it had nothing to do with him.

“Yes, all.” Finn Lewis confirmed decisively. “Also, what is this?” Finn asked, pointing to a sleek silver metallic box nearby.

The worker immediately left Dunn Monty and Thomas Calvin behind, hastily running towards Finn. While placing Finn’s order on a weirdly modeled computer in his hands, smiling from ear to ear to explain to Finn, he had noticed that the customer in front of him was the money-spender!

The previous two talked a lot of names but their total purchase just added up to 60,000-70,000 death star coins. And now this gentleman had bought just one item worth 200,000; and was still interested in other items.

However, after seeing the item Finn was pointing at, the worker paused for a second, but then flew into a swift explanation: “This… is called Metal Storm, also a precise battlefield weapon. Its destructive power, sir, have you noticed? Yes, even that mech behind us, the Federation official Thunder Mech, can’t withstand its attack.”

“Are you sure?” Finn raised an eyebrow, this silver box didn’t look very big, about the length of an adult’s arm, and only five or six centimeters thick. You are telling me it can directly destroy that mech? Are you joking? If it could destroy that mech, why would this thing be so cheap?

“Stay on your side, we don’t need it!” Dunn Monty said menacingly, shooting the shop worker a sharp look before whispering to Finn, “Your Highness, Dimensional Rings are not stable, especially those sold out here. Sometimes, the space inside could just collapse, and then all the items stored within disappear.”

“There really is such a ring?” Finn Lewis was surprised. He had always thought such items existed only in fantasy novels and never expected that they existed in the Galactic Federation.

“There are, but even the Audit Bureau doesn’t often use them. It is only a unique spatial compression technology, but the current spatial compression technology isn’t stable.
