Chapter 97: Chapter 97 Blade of the Heart

“I wonder if Mutators can use the Blade of the Heart, I forgot to ask Tian Xin about that,” Lin Shen continued his frenzied acting, secretly spying on every move of the Black-Capped Mushroom Beast.

The Black-Capped Mushroom Beast, dragging the red Jade Sword, walked in front of Zheng Guyuan, two claws clamping on the sword hilt at once, and with a fierce effort, lifted the red Jade Sword and ruthlessly stabbed it towards Zheng Guyuan’s heart.

The Black-Capped Mushroom Beast was clamping the red Jade Sword with its claws, while the black cap mushroom on its head glowed with a sparkling white light, which made the air where it shone seem much cleaner.

Zheng Yan hastily ran over to pick up the backpack from the ground, rummaging through it to pull out an antique design pistol-style Pet Launcher and aimed it directly at Lin Shen.

Seeing Zheng Yan aiming the Pet Launcher at him, Lin Shen was not alarmed but rather pleased. There were indeed people who could kill him with that device, but Zheng Yan definitely wasn’t one of them.

“That Pet Launcher is of Ascension Level. You haven’t activated its power yet. Take out the Crystal Base Capsules inside. The first three are Ascension Pets, which you cannot use. The next five are Mutated Crystal Base Pets – activate them directly or load them into the Angel Revolver. Using them should be enough to kill Lin Shen,” Zheng Guyuan advised Zheng Yan while grappling with the Black-Capped Mushroom Beast.

Upon hearing the instructions, Zheng Yan immediately opened the chamber, taking out the Crystal Base Capsules and the key. After a moment’s hesitation, he chose not to activate the Mutated Crystal Base Pets directly but instead loaded them into the Angel Revolver, aiming the barrel at Lin Shen.

“Lin Shen, when you strutted around that stellar body relying on the power of this Angel Revolver, did you ever imagine that one day you would die at its muzzle?” Zheng Yan said coldly, the gun pointed at Lin Shen.

“Don’t you still want the Mutant Sea Demon God General?” Lin Shen said while charging forward, still trying to confuse Zheng Yan with his words.

“I do—but I want to kill you even more,” Zheng Yan said and pulled the trigger without hesitation.

Cold light flashed in Wei Wufu’s eyes like a fierce tiger, he rushed towards Zheng Yan.

Lin Shen also charged forward while throwing the Death Powder in his hand as if it were a javelin, aimed directly at Zheng Yan.

The Death Powder turned into a dark red streak of light, flying towards Zheng Yan who was about to open fire.

Zheng Yan’s eyes revealed a disdainful look as he shot at the Death Powder in the air.

In his opinion, it was simply an Alloy Level weapon, merely a dead object. The Mutated Crystal Base Pet he fired could obliterate the Death Powder on impact.

The gun fired!

The Mutated Crystal Base Capsule shot out at a speed of 44, turning into a Mutated Black Armored Centipede upon leaving the barrel, charging towards the Death Powder.
