Originally, Lin Shen had wanted to delay for a while longer. At this rate, persisting a bit more to break three hundred points would have been a matter of minutes.

"This... how is that possible..." Tian Xun stared blankly at Cosimo, whose body was embedded in the rocks, with only half of his head remaining, finding it somewhat hard to believe for a moment.

That was Cosimo of the Ninth Turn Ascension, who also had the double enhancement of Celestial Descent and Crown of the King, yet he was killed by a Mutator with a head-on punch.
