Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Chapter 279 Head Elder

With a tap of its feet on the ground, the Double Edged Wasp shot forward coldly before any other spirit beasts could charge. Its sharp blades emitted a chilling cold light and slashed down.

The blue blade light traced a smooth crescent arc in the air.

The piercing spiritual energy swept in, yet Red didn't even blink and continued to sleep soundly, even murmuring in his dream. This made Walker Adam beside him sign internally, but due to his understanding of Blaze Regret, he wisely chose to remain silent.

The sharp blades of the Double Edged Wasp were reflected in Blaze Regret's eyes. He slightly lifted the corner of his mouth and slowly raised his right hand.

"Fool!" Stun Tuah and the others sneered. The blades of the Double Edged Wasp were something even sixth tier Imperial grade spirit beasts wouldn't dare confront directly. Did Blaze Regret really think he could withstand them?n/o/vel/b//in dot c//om

"Clang!"

However, in the next moment, Stun Tuah and the others' ridicule froze on their faces. Blaze Regret, with an air of ease, simply extended two fingers and gently caught the fierce blades of the Double Edged Wasp between them, stopping them in their tracks.

"Impossible!" Stun Qistin's eyes widened in shock, and even Walker Nani looked horrified, her face twisted as if she had seen a ghost.

"With such little strength, it's better not to embarrass yourself."

With a slight smile, Blaze Regret applied gentle pressure with his fingers, and the blades of the Double Edged Wasp shattered with a cracking sound. The sharp fragments, carried by fierce winds, swept across the area.

"Ah!"

A series of blood curdling screams erupted as several members of the Stun Family fell to the ground with a thud. Their spirit beasts were also pierced through vital points by the shattered blades.

A warm trickle of blood flowed down his forehead. Stun Tuah opened his mouth, but ultimately, with a look of shock, he collapsed weakly.

With a gentle push of his hand, the lifeless Double Edged Wasp crashed to the ground. Blaze Regret looked at his silver tinged fingers with satisfaction, feeling that the pain he endured these past days had not been in vain.

"Is this guy a monster?" Stun Qistin's lips trembled as she immediately turned to flee without a second thought. Blaze Regret paid no attention to her actions; what was meant to come would eventually come, and it was best to resolve these matters sooner rather than later.

"Brother Blaze, how did you train your fingers? Is it a rock type spirit technique?" Walker Adam asked, his eyes filled with curiosity at Blaze Regret's gradually fading fingers. Even a ninth tier spirit Imperial master wouldn't be able to deal with the Stun Family's spirit beasts so decisively and swiftly with spirit techniques, would they?

You must understand that the destructive power of spirit techniques cannot be compared to spiritual skills!

Blaze Regret merely shrugged at Walker Adam's amazement. If Walker Adam knew that Blaze Regret hadn't even utilized ten percent of the Rock Crumbling Palm's power, his jaw would likely drop in shock.

Bending down, Blaze Regret took the gold coin card from Stun Tuah's waist. With a flick of his fingers, the light green card ended up in Walker Adam's clothing, accompanied by a broad smile.

"Do you even know what you're doing?" Walker Nani snapped back to her senses and glared angrily at Blaze Regret. However, he didn't spare her a glance and simply followed Walker Adam into the Walker Family's mansion, ignoring her to the point that she gritted her teeth in frustration.

The Walker Family's courtyard was even more luxurious than the Jack family's, yet it was notably sparse in terms of people. Blaze Regret didn't encounter a single Walker Family member during his long walk.

"They've all gone out to hunt spirit beasts. After all, the spirit cores can be sold for gold coins, which are needed to pay tribute to the Stun Family," Walker Adam explained with a shrug, clearly disapproving of this situation.

Blaze Regret was speechless. To be bullied to this extent and still not fight back if this were the Blaze family, even without Blaze Ash, the two elders would be the first to fight back with everything they had.

Finding a chair, Blaze Regret sat down comfortably as Walker Adam quickly poured him some tea. Walker Adam's Heavenly Eye ability was on the verge of breaking through, and he could already vaguely see signs of awakening in Blaze Regret's second spirit portal.

"Walker Adam, get him out of here immediately! Do you know the trouble he's caused?" Walker Nani stormed in, glaring fiercely at Blaze Regret. It wouldn't be long before the Stun Family's strongmen arrived, and then Blaze Regret would realize just how foolish he had been!

Walker Adam, with a face full of helplessness, opened his mouth to say something, but an angry, elderly voice suddenly echoed from outside.

"Who killed the people of the Stun Family? Come out!"

Hearing the voice, a mocking sneer quickly appeared on Walker Nani's lips.

With an angry shout, an elder in a white robe stormed in, his eyes quickly locking onto Blaze Regret, who sat there with a calm demeanor that only fueled the elder's rage. This individual was Walker Sin, the head elder of the Walker Family, who had rushed back in a hurry after receiving a somewhat exaggerated message from Walker Nani.

"Adam, who is this boy!" Walker Sin's gaze shifted coldly from Blaze Regret to Walker Adam, his roaring voice like thunder descending from the heavens.

Blaze Regret lifted his eyelids slightly, a trace of indifference flashing in his eyes. As the head elder of the Walker Family, Walker Sin possessed only sixth tier imperial grade strength, which spoke volumes about the current downfall of the Walker Family.

"Elder, do you not agree with my actions either?" Walker Adam's lips curled into a bitter smile. It was clear that Walker Sin's return was to hold him accountable.
