Chapter 126: Chapter 126: Planets Core
Chapter 126: Chapter 126: Planets Core
[3rd POV - Gwen]
With the arrival of Atlas, Gwen knew that a lot of annoying people had come with them. James Ironwood, Winter Schnee, Cinder and Salem's other pets, and a variety of others that will only continue to make their way to Vale for the festival. A festival that was pretty laughable to Gwen, in comparison to some of the festivals she had seen in her lives.
The festival itself would be easily winnable by her, with only her girlfriends being a challenge, one that she was excited to take on, for it had been a while since she had seen them go all out on her, well, except in bed. They had all progressed quite a bit from what Gwen had sensed, probably several times over in the past few months. Mostly in the skill area, and in the usage of their aura.
Salem's little pets would be easy enough to take care of, and she planned on doing that pretty soon. As she really couldn't be bothered to deal with Cinder and her fellow servants, not for as long as she'd appear like in canon. The woman would likely die soon, alongside Tyrian Callows and several others of note.
Over the past couple of days since they had gotten to Beacon, Gwen had been a little busy. As she had decided to complete a few of her system evolution tasks, mostly the ones that were easily completable by her.
Task 3 - Collect the 4 relics
Task 8 - Destroy a world with your own power, preferably one that is not inhabited
Destroying a world was...rather easy for her to be honest. All she had to do was boost a few times using her Ddraig part, and it was doable within moments. Afterall, boosting 4 times would boost her base power by at least 16 times, and it would only double again every time afterwards. And when you've already got the power to decimate continents with laughable ease, a planet isn't too far..
The relics had been easily collected, as their defences were...laughable. She just made some clones and had them yoink each one. And in the case of Atlas, it was replaced with a copy, one that while not as strong as the original Relic of Creation, would be able to power Atlas for a long long long time.
Gwen had found that the relics were surprisingly impressive power wise. With the Sword of Destruction being particularly impressive, as it massively strengthened her power of destruction from her Sirzechs side. A boost that made her power of destruction better at "destroying things" destroying more thoroughly than before when not using the blade. The blade also had the power to "Destroy" parts of objects and attacks, and with enough control, even concepts.
It was through this blade, her power of destruction, and Canis Lykaon that Gwen had found her way of severing the Infinity Stones and being able to absorb them into herself.
Her clones had picked up the pace rapidly when involving saving faunus around the world, and due to this, she had garnered a bit of a following thanks to this. Saving over 30,000 faunus would naturally do that.

This had put her to 120 NL tickets which was promptly formed into TL tickets. Giving her a total of 120 TL tickets, tickets that would be put to good use when she evolved her system to the next level.
Over the days her clones had finally reached the very core of the planet, and the location in which they could properly find out what was happening to the planet, which was exactly what Gwen was doing right now.
Looking through the eyes of her clone, Gwen looked at the mass of what was akin to lava that was the core of Remnant, or at least...that's what it should have been. Instead, she was staring wide eyed in shock at the core of the planet, for it wasn't even a core.
"The core of Remnant is...a grimm?" Gwen whispered, genuinely surprised for the first time in a long time.
The grimm itself was absolutely massive, and old, probably the oldest grimm ever created. It was a dark inky black and was seemingly sleeping. More than that, it looked eerily similar to a certain lovecraftian God she had remembered.
"And it look's like...Chtu-" Gwen stopped before she even finished the rest of the name, breathing out, stopping herself.
"Best not to utter any of their names" Gwen reminded herself, she knew that the Lovecraftian Gods were...powerful, so terrifyingly powerful. Her lives had seen similar to them, but never the true ones. The Doctor, Rick Sanchez, and a few others had gazed at the Others, or similar Gods and been fine, but she wasn't idiotic enough to gain their attention.
And while she wasn't sure how powerful they were in comparison to the system, or if they could through the multiverses, she'd much rather not test her luck. Especially not when involving entities that could atomize her from existence with laughable ease.
They were some of the few creatures in the vast expanse of existence that she was not even remotely interested in interacting with, or antagonizing.
"But what created such a thing?" Gwen muttered, looking at the creature. It wasn't a God or anything, but one look at it and she could tell it was easily the strongest grimm there was. And it might as well be a God.
"...The God of Grimm" Gwen sighed, as she began to put together what the "Grimm Pools" actually were.
"Grimm pools are its blood...and it seems the creature is not only passively absorbing the very life force of the planet, but the souls of those that die on this planet" Gwen whispered, her
eyes showing her more than what should have been possible.
"That's why it strengthens my soul...for the grimm are created using the blood of this...God of Grimm, and the souls of those that died in the long past. But the souls are so mutilated and warped, that they can't even be classified as souls, they're just...husks" Gwen frowned, realizing that this thing...this thing needed...no, HAD to die.
For the true core of the planet still existed, but it was being "Smothered" by this God of Grimm, enough that it was killing the planet itself.
"So if I kill that thing...then that should stop grimm pools from showing up. There may be a few more just from the leftover blood, but that's about it. And with that, I can begin to truly wipe out the grimm kind" Gwen hummed, wondering how to do this. She couldn't just destroy the thing, as that could cause some...less than good reactions, destroying the core of the planet and therefore the planet itself.
"Hmm, I guess the best method would be to teleport it off world and then kill it then, maybe even absorb it and see what that gives me" Gwen decided, as she teleported off. She was already offworld, sitting on the remains of the moon, so might as well get this part over with. Reappearing on a far away planet, Gwen gave the "Order" to her clone, as a large glow traveled over the massive grimm, and it disappeared from the core of Remnant, only to reappear in front of Gwen.
Before it could even react to what had just happened, a golden spear slammed through it's massive skull, obliterating it in an instant. It couldn't even let out a cry of pain before it was dead, the True Longinus being the perfect counter to its dark and evil nature.
The most powerful grimm in the world couldn't even fight back as Gwen absorbed it into her being, breathing in deeply as she felt her soul, aura, and energies massively strengthen over
and over.
Her cores began to rapidly grow and evolve to new levels.

Her soul continued to grow as she was (in essence) absorbing the souls of tens, if not
hundreds of millions of people, more and more filling her with power, as she breathed out, power filling her soul as it evolved over and over, adapting to the strain of millions of souls being added into its own. Soul upon soul filling her, as she let out a breath.
Her dark energies swirled and grew, as her Omega Energy swirled around her, shaking the world she was on as she breathed out.
"That was...different" Gwen muttered as she opened her eyes, clenching her fist as the new burst of souls, power, and knowledge filled her brain.
"So I guess this makes me the "God of Grimm" now, huh?" Gwen muttered with an amused
grin, as she transformed her tickets into TL ones, giving her over 180 in total at the moment. "With this, the grimm pools will slowly die out, and wiping out the rest of the grimm kind will be easy to complete" Gwen said with a pleased smile, as she felt all the power thundering within her now. Absorbing hundreds of millions of souls would do that.
She found from the memories of the "Grimm God" that it was in fact, the Demigod son of the God of Darkness itself, created using the God's blood. It was through this connection to that God that it had all its power, and was able to create the grimm like it did.
Had the God of Darkness not left, then it would have been able to create grimm on it's own,
and probably made its own form of grimm pools, but after he left, it was up to the Grimm God to do this, and so it did, using its own blood to form grimm. It was thanks to this that the grimm were able to evolve and grow, as they had been created through the blood of the Son of
a God. With the absorption of the "God of Grimm" completed, Gwen decided to get back, mostly because she didn't tell the girls she was even leaving, so they'd probably not be too happy
with her.
Glancing around the area, Gwen let out a small sigh before teleporting off, all the while muttering.
"Hopefully this won't cause too many problems"

That's the end of the chapter!
Gwen's absorbed the cause for the grimm pools and the damage being caused to the planet!
The "God of Grimm" is an OC thing I created because...I thought it'd be cool. It looks very very
similar to Cthulhu, but is more grimm like.
Anyways, have a good day!
