She Belongs To The Devil

"Where are Damien and Kenneth?" Ariel glanced out of the dining hall's door and asked out loud.

However, neither the twins knew about their whereabouts, nor did Zach and Grace.

"Maybe they are busy with their vampire stuff," Zach made a guess and munched on a piece of buttered bread.

"Maybe." Ariel also focused on her breakfast rather than keeping on wondering where the two of them were. By now, she was already aware that the two of them wouldn't try to kill each other. So she wasn't wary of leaving the two of them alone.

On the other corner of the table, Niylah was sitting beside Grace. When Grace and Ramon took a break from talking with each other, Niylah took the chance to ask Grace, "So, I assume that your parents allowed you to come along with us?"

Grace happily turned to look at Niylah. And she nodded her head, "Yes. My handmaid brought my belongings yesterday. So I will also be joining everyone. I will try my best not to cause any inconvenience for anyone."

"Oh, don't think like that. All of us are happy with your decision to accompany us. It will be a fun trip," Ramon chimed in from the side and reassured Grace that nobody was taking her as a liability or a burden.

Grace gave a slight bow to Ramon. And she subtly expressed that she felt safe with Ramon, "I feel comfortable because you will be also on this trip. I will be in your care then."

"You can rely on me," Ramon gave a sweet smile to Grace. In his heart, he was determined to stay by Grace's side at all times to avoid any bad encounter between her and Damien again.

Niylah smiled after witnessing that cute exchange between Grace and Ramon. And she thought to herself, "Well, it looks like Ramon will win me in this one. If everything progresses well then Wyverndale might welcome a new royal member soon."

After a few more minutes, Ariel noticed Damien's aura entering through the door. She turned her head around just in time to catch a brief shy expression on Damien's face. And what more? He was wearing a completely different attire than usual.

And it suited Damien so much that Ariel's heart did a backflip when she saw him clad in that formal attire. Her eyes and jaw were wide open. And she held her breath when her eyes met with his.

"Good morning, everyone." Damien tried his best not to keep on looking at that awestruck Princess. But he was quite enjoying that look on Ariel's face. So he kept on standing by the door and looking at her with a subtle smile lingering on his face.

He would have probably kept on looking at her if it wasn't for Zach who had dashed from the table to stand in front of Damien like a wall.

"Damien! Oh my goodness!" Zach covered his mouth with both of his palms and looked up and down at Damien.

And he asked in a surprised and excited tone, "When did you buy these clothes? And why do you look so fine in these as well? Wasn't it enough to look like a God in the usual clothes that you had to look this handsome in these clothes as well?"

Zach squeezed Damien's firm biceps and further added in a hypnotized voice, "Every woman on Earth is going to want a piece of you. Leave someone for us, man."

Kenneth had been watching Zach and Damien for a while now. And he teasingly said to Zach as he passed by them, "Why don't you keep Damien for yourself? That way, he won't take any woman."

Everyone in the room tried their best to suppress their laughter.

Ariel was the only one who was openly giggling after listening to Kenneth's comment.

And Damien flicked on Zach's forehead and awkwardly asked, "Shut up and eat. We have to leave soon."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om

Zach grinned and closely followed Damien to the table. As if everyone weren't already making fun of him and Damien, he shifted his plate and cup and sat right next to Damien.

Everyone burst into laughter upon seeing Damien's questioning glare directed at Zach.

And Ariel teasingly spoke, "Aww… our Zach is smitten by Damien."

To which, Ramon added without missing a beat, "He was smitten way before." He looked at Zach and mockingly asked, "Aren't you going to ask Damien to marry you today?"

"I would. But he has eyes on someone else," Zach winked at Damien and then turned to grin at Ariel.

Damien subconsciously glanced at Kenneth, only to find him already looking at him.

Kenneth looked away and sipped on the hot tea.

Damien also looked down at his own plate of food. For some reason, his heart was feeling very uneasy.

After some awkward few minutes, they all continued to make fun of each other, talk, and eat their food.

By the time they finished their breakfast, several carriages were already ready for them. The guards, maids, servants, and coachmen were ready and waiting outside the tower.

And after taking permission to leave from King Walter and Queen Florence, they all set off on their journey to the capital of Romania.

In Romania, everyone was eagerly waiting for the arrival of the Princes and Princesses from Wyverndale and Brenalia.

Joyce was the most excited one obviously. But she was also nervous. She had been thinking if her cousins would like the hospitality extended by her husband's side of the family or not. She was hoping that everything would go normally.

Prince Vlad was the in-charge of looking after everything, from welcoming the guests to accommodating them.

At the moment, he was busy giving instructions to the beautifully dressed maids who were waiting at the entrance of the castle to give a warm welcome to the guests. "Remember, you all are supposed to shower the guests with those flower petals as they walk inside. Be sure to smile, and bow of course."

Right then, one of Vlad's assistants came and informed him, "Your Highness, our guests have already entered the main gate of the castle."

Vlad gave a nod and asked that assistant, "Share this news with the Crown Princess as well." He then clapped his hands and ordered the maids, "Okay, you heard him. Our guests will be here any moment now. Get ready to welcome them."
