Chapter 649: Future Roadmap and a Poll

A new arc will start after 2-3 chapters. This arc is divided into three different sub-arcs. The names of those three different side stories will be:- Madara Shinden, Uchiha Gaiden, and Konoha Retsuden. All stories cover Madara and Uchiha clan's story. Madara Shinden will contain the pre and post-Konoha journey of Madara. Uchiha Gaiden will cover the warring era conflict of the Uchiha clan, while Konoha Retsuden will cover events in Konoha before the eventual betrayal of Madara. I have pretty much finished writing these three side-stories (around 40-45 chapters) and the next arc will continue the post war event and then the Izuna's rise to power arc (not the real name of the arc lol). This arc will cover Izuna's rapid growth and his journey outside the shinobi world and will also explain several previous plot points. There will be tons of action packed battles with high stakes and power.

So, I am a bit conflicted on the Boruto part after the Fourth Shinobi war. After Izuna's growth and journey arc finishes, I will have two options

1. Jump to prologue with a final battle arc and end the series.

2. Expand the Boruto verse with Izuna in picture and scale future enemies and our favorite shinobi (Kakashi, Itachi, Shisui and others) accordingly to fight these unknown adversaries.

3. Specify any other option.
