"Sir, I would like to inform you that Ms Pepper and your nurse are at the door." JARVIS stated
"Shit! Stall them JARVIS" Tony said as he hurriedly runs towards his room, take hist shirt of nad tries to wrap bandage around his just but couldn't do it perfectly so he lays on his bed and covers himself with a bedsheet.
By the time that Tony lays on his bed Pepper and the nurse are already inside the house and walking upstairs to his room.
"Tony! Are you awake" Pepper asks as she enters the room but doesn't get any reply as Tony is pretending to be asleep.
"Let me see if the bandages need to be changed Ms. Potts otherwise there is no need to wake up Mr. Stark" the nurse said to which Pepper nodded her head in acceptance.
Tony started to sweat when he heard the nurses words as he knew that if that happens there is no way that Pepper would be ok with him.
"Hm... What? Pepper you are here" Tony said pretending as if he had just woken up.
"Tony you are awake, the nurse is just checking your bandages to see if they need to be changed" Pepper said
"No there is no need for that, the bandages are good." Tony said as he tried to stop the nurse from seeing the bandages.
"Mr. Stark we need to regularly change the bandages so that you don't get infected" The nurse explained the situation to Stark.
Tony tried to stop the nurse but couldn't before she removed the bedsheet.
"What is this?" exclaimed the nurse in surprise as he sees the bandage on Tony's chest not wrapped well so his chest could still be seen.
The nurse couldn't believe her eyes so she pulled the bandage down to see Tony's chest only to see no sign of any surgery on it and couldn't help but ask "What? How?"
"Tony! What happened?" Pepper asked as well.
"Ah! Well you know Reaper the guy who helped me fight Obadiah," Tony asks to which Pepper nods her head, "He gave me a bean, while saying that it's a spirit medicine or something and I would be fine after eating it."
"Why did you hide it from me? Were you going to tell me about it or am I just not important enough for you to tell me about these things" Pepper said
"No Pepper listen to me" Tony said but Pepper didn't listen and just walked out of the room.
Tony tried to follow her but Pepper didn't stop for second and walked out of the house, sat in her car and drove away.
*Sigh*" I really fucked up" Tony said then turned back to head inside to see the nurse standing in the middle of the room.
"Ah! I am sorry you have to see that. Nad thanks for taking care of me but you don't have to anymore as you can see but worry not I will pay you for the whole month. How does 100 grand sound?" Tony said
"No No Mr Stark that's too much" the Nurse said
"It's okay you took care of me and that's what's important" Tony said to the Nurse than called onto JARVIS, "JARVIS transfer 100 grand to her account"
"Understood sir" JARVIS replied
"Thank you Mr Stark" the nurse said while her eyes glistened a little
"Your welcome, now I need to follow behind Pepper so if there is anything you need please tell me." Tony said
"No! No nothing" the nurse said and grabbed her bag, "I will take my leave Mr. Stark hope you can patch things up with Ms. Potts" the Nurse said and left the house.
"I hope so as well"
