Chapter 129 Second Floor of the Labyrinth (2)
Almond moved out of the cave with his spirit wraiths and arrived in the first area—the Cavern of Passing Light.
A strange dark cavern with moving lumps of soil. The monsters here were Luminsoil Moles, ranging from Silver level 11 to Silver level 15.
Almond told his spirit wraiths to scatter and kill all the monsters. Meanwhile, he leisurely walked toward the exit of this cavern while collecting the spirits of monsters his summons were killing.
Ten minutes later, all Luminsoil Moles in this area were killed, a total of 68.
Naturally, all the spirits were turning into Spirit Items in the Spirit Forge Factory.
"Master, who won?" Nyssara asked.
"I won, obviously," Infernal Knight crossed his arms as flames burst from his nostrils.
"Actually, the winner is Ben," Almond chuckled. "He killed 21 monsters."
"Better luck next time, lads," Dark Pope put on his round black hat and winked at them.
"Master, I found these at that corner, behind the wall. They seemed to have grown within the soil," Sylvia arrived, her vines around her holding four black crystals with glowing white light inside them.
"Nice, they are Spellfuel Crystals. They grow randomly on this floor and can be used to supercharge Mana to increase our skill's overall power and effects," Almond waved his hand, getting the crystals towards him as Sylvia removed them from her vine wrap.
"They expire in 1 hour after we unearth them, and there's no way of stopping it, so well, we'll just use them," Almond put the crystals on his empty Polen Tiger's Belt. "Let's go. Onwards to the next area."
…
Lily and Natalia also arrived at their first monster-filled cavern-type area after exiting the starting area.
They killed all the monsters swiftly with Starlight Beast without breaking a sweat.
"We are at the southern starting area, so our route is Glowveil Hollow area, then to Chasm of Echoes to grab the item there and move to the Floor Boss area," Lily said as she looked at the map. "Five hours, huh? Yeah, we'll do this."
"Chasm of Echoes…there are monsters with sound-type attacks there," Nataliab blinked and grinned. "Alright, let's pass through Glowveil Hollow fast and spend more time in the Chams of Echoes. I might improve my sound mastery there."
"Good idea," Lily jumped on the Starlight Beast. "Get on. Let's move."
"Roar!*
Starlight Beast entered the passage right-side passage per Lily's instruction, moving towards the next area—Glowveil Hollow.
Your next chapter is on empire
On the other hand, Marcus, Maya, and Chimera Frank also cleared out their first area—Fanged Garden, after leaving the starting area.
They were in the eastern area of the floor, so they also determined their route accordingly after looking at the map.
The Floor Boss triggering items were in the inner areas, so all three groups skipped the major regions. There was no point in wasting time there.
But this floor was a sprawling underground world, a vast cavern network filled with bioluminescent flora, deep chasms, subterranean rivers, and hostile terrain, so everyone had to move at a proper pace.
Two hours later, Almond arrived at Duskmire Falls, an inner area with a majestic waterfall flowing into an underground lagoon where a secret entrance was located.
"This area is so beautiful," Sylvia said with sparkly eyes as she looked at the bio-luminous plants, crystals, the giant waterfall, and black terrain.
"It's just as dangerous, but not for us," Almond said as he walked out of the passage and looked at the giant waterfall a hundred meters away from a huge hole fifty meters high.
The terrain was going upward towards the high ground of this cavern, which was also the most spacious part of this area and where the monsters were located.
"Let's go. The item we need to find will require some labor work after we kill all monsters in this area."n/ô/vel/b//jn dot c//om
The monsters in this area were of two types, both ranging from Silver level 15 to 20.
1. Crystalbane Revenant—humanoid-type with attributes of crystal and water.
2. Brinescale Warden—A fish-like humanoid monster with a giant metallic right hand the size of its body. They had attributes of water, metal, and crystals.
The boss of this area was called Brinescale King, Silver level 20.
Well, Infernal Knight Ashkar soloed the boss at the end, defeating it spectacularly using both techniques he learned and skills despite having lower stat points than the boss.
"Good work, everyone. Now, the item we want is somewhere here, but its location is different every month, each cycle."
Almond said as he floated above by magnetizing all the metal worn on his body and controlling it with lightning as it faintly crackled around him.
"There is a pattern on this ground, and it pulses every two seconds. The pulses are broken but patterned. Read the pattern, and it will guide us to the item we need."
"I'll find it faster than anyone," Sylvia cheekily said.
Almond smiled, "Whoever finds the item first gets to eat the whole batch of Limtos candies."
"Sorry, lads. I am taking that bucket of candies," Dark Pope turned into his shadow form and floated up, observing the ground.
Nyssara sat on a frost-throne after extending it tens of meters high off the ground using ice.
Sylvia did something similar, using vines and wood.
Ashkar simply burst out with flames and floated using flame's propulsion from his feet, standing in the air with his arms crossed.
Chimera Viperfiend walked toward Almond and sat down.
"Yeah, you relax," Almond chuckled and also sat down before using his Spirit Forge Factory.
'Time to cook…or craft? Well, same thing.'
Almond selected the Light Armor Slab and began designing his armor.
After designing it, Almond selected the ingredient spirits.

—> Sacrifice 20 Rare-grade items for a High-tier Super-grade result. [0/20].
'Let's get this on,' Almond grinned, putting 20 Rare-grade items as a sacrifice. 'I want items that can act as a set. There should be a way to include that concept in my Spirit Forge Factory.'
'Putting the same ingredients in the creation of other items sounds like it would make a set possible, but I am using Boss Monsters' Spirits, and there's no second Boss monster of the same kind…' Almond thought as he saw the crafting of his High-quality Super-grade item beginning.
A countdown of 31 minutes also appeared.
'How do I make a set of items that use different ingredients in their creation?' Almond walked towards another slab and selected it.
After designing the item, he selected ingredients.
[Heavy Sword Slab]
- Design:
—> Create your desired design of the broad sword on the blank screen.
- Super-grade Guarantee Forge: Add 3 Ingredient spirits.
— 1. Thunderbolt Horned Beast (Gold level 100 Dungeon Boss).
— 2. Glassbound Blacklight Tyrant (Gold level 100 Dungeon Boss).
— 3. Golden Molten Lizardking (Gold level 100 Dungeon Boss).
'To make this item consider a set with that armor…well, my class is kinda weird in this case, so I'll try the mysterious way,' Almond's eyes glinted. 'The names.'
