Chapter 415 415 -Fall Of Ancestors

Chapter 415 -

A tremendous explosion resounded, catching the attention of many as they observed the fluctuations in that specific location.

"Ancestor!"

The emperor, engaged in battle against his enemies, bellowed upon recognizing the aura emitted by the explosion.

"Shit! I won't forgive you all."

He roared, brandishing his sword fiercely.

<Law of Water>

<Tidal Waves>

Boom!

Numerous Dark Cult members found themselves submerged in the water sphere conjured by the emperor.

Overwhelmed by stress, the emperor couldn't even ascertain the condition of his family and his daughter, who were contending against two formidable opponents.

Boom!

Abruptly, a man plummeted to the ground, recognizable to many.

"Fourth Ancestor!"

The fourth ancestor appeared to have been charred to death, his visage barely discernible.

The emperor felt a profound sense of loss.

In his capacity as emperor, he held their life tokens and thus realized that all three ancestors had perished.

"Arghh, how hateful."

He glared at Archbishop Driht, his readiness for combat evident.

"Don't, Emperor! You are no match for him."

His general, fighting by his side, intervened to dissuade him from rash actions, but the emperor was bent on vengeance.

Each ancestor had contributed to his rise and he held deep respect for all of them.

They had never coveted power or meddled in his affairs. Their support had always been for the sake of peace.

"I must kill them."

Boom!

Abruptly, the emperor was enshrouded in a suit of water armor.

His aura transformed as he surged to the level of Semi-Saint Sovereign in an instant.

"Leave this place immediately"

He commanded his people as he was about to get serious.

His crown gleamed as a royal treasure of the clan, capable of harnessing certain powers.

<Royal Energy>

He drew upon the ancestral tombs where his predecessors had stored a portion of their strength, borrowing the accumulated energy of his clan.

Archbishop Driht glanced at Warren, sensing a threat in his powers.

"It will be tough, but still manageable."

Warren pointed his fingers at Driht, incanting.

<Water Arrow>

Swoosh!

Countless water-formed arrows hurtled towards Driht, whose expression betrayed a sense of threat.

Boom!

Boom!

Several arrows struck Archbishop Driht, their velocity leaving little room for evasion.

Cough!

Despite coughing up blood, Driht wiped it away with ease, chuckling.

"Haha, finally, someone has wounded me in a thousand years. It's time for you to die for angering me."

<Law of Fire>

<Fire Inferno>

Warren and Driht had both ascended to the Middle Stage of their respective laws, a notable achievement in this realm.

Boom!

Fire and water collided, resulting in a massive explosion that engulfed bystanders.

Boom!

The explosion claimed many lives, with a majority belonging to the Dark Cult.

The once grand royal arena was reduced to a vast crater.

However, the floating platform remained intact, safeguarded by a potent shield.

Boom!

Warren and the archbishop exchanged blow after blow, their strengths evenly matched.

Boom!

Despite the ferocity of their attacks, neither gained an upper hand.

"Do you know how I killed your ancestor, even though he matched me in strength?"

Driht chuckled, a tattoo appearing on his face. Warren suddenly found himself unable to move.

<Shadow Manipulation>

Stunned, Warren realized his shadow bore a mark, but it was too late as Driht assaulted him with his fire law.

"Oh no!"

Onlookers were horrified, not wanting to witness their emperor's demise and the subsequent plummet in morale.

Boom!

Suddenly, a massive gourd materialized, swallowing the archbishop's assault.

"Hehe, you owe me one, Warren."

Andrei the drunkard appeared before Warren, the gourd shrinking to a small size.

Andrei then drank its contents.

Burp!

"Ah, so delicious."

Andrei grinned, astonishingly sober.

"I owe you," Warren expressed gratitude before addressing Archbishop Driht.

"You can use your trick once, but not twice."

Driht sensed the dire situation, attempting to contact Eno and Owt, only to receive no response.

"What?"

Andrei, understanding Driht's intent, laughed.

"Well, two of your comrades are dead."

"One fell to that demonic woman."

"The other perished in an explosion."

"Now, it's your turn."

As dark cult members pursued him, Andrei witnessed the death of Archbishop Owt and shocked by the power displayed by the woman near Dave, who had single-handedly vanquished Archbishop Owt, one of the mightiest archbishops.

Regarding the death of Eno, he too felt the powerful explosion from their battleground.

He surmised that both of them had perished in that blast.

The Royal clan suffered a substantial blow in losing the second to fourth ancestors.

However, if they managed to survive this ordeal, they still had a chance to rebuild and restore their clan.

Archbishop Driht stood stunned for a moment, then attempted to reach out to his remaining two Archbishops.

Yet, an unexpected event unfolded before him.

Swoosh!

A portal abruptly materialized, and Wendy emerged from it, clutching the severed heads of two individuals.

One was a kid, the other an adult, their faces etched with fear before their demise.

"What?"

Archbishop Driht and even the other members of the Dark Cult were taken aback by the sight of the decapitated archbishop heads in Wendy's hands.

"How?"

Numerous activities came to a halt as all attention turned to Wendy. The spotlight was now on her.

"Tsk, they were weak, and I haven't even expended half of my powers."

Wendy's return brought forth both delight and astonishment.

Her powers exceeded everyone's expectations.

"Who's next?"

She cast her gaze upon the remaining Semi-Saint Sovereign, unable to detect the auras of the other ancestors.

"What happened, Father?"

She approached her father, Warren, who was conflicted.

He recounted the events that had transpired.

The sudden fall of the three ancestors was an unforeseen turn of events for her.

She turned her gaze to Dhirt and declared, "Then you should follow them as their guide."

Archbishop Dhirt's instinct was to flee, preparing his escape, but a sudden freezing of space arrested him.

His body transformed into ice, his shock palpable.

In the end, all he perceived were Wendy's frigid, azure eyes before he became an ice statue that promptly detonated.

Boom!

With the demise of the Dark Cult's archbishops, jubilation filled the soldiers and allies from other clans who had joined the battle.

Trapped within the battleground, they all pressed forward.

"Kill them all!"

Wendy's command resonated as she emerged like a war deity, freezing her adversaries and dispatching them relentlessly.

The soldiers' morale soared, leading to an intensified slaughter.

However, Wendy noted that Dave refrained from aiding them.

Her disappointment grew, fueled by an unspoken reason.

Observing the casualties, Dave's lips curled, and he muttered, "Hehe, kill more, and his descent will hasten."

Dave had already discerned the mechanics of the formation.

With each death, the formation absorbed their blood and energy, stabilizing the portal and accelerating the construction of the god of darkness's body.

This was precisely his objective.

Boom!
