NPC into Player: Let's Wreck This Game

Chapter 234: It's Time

Chapter 234: It's Time

"Sigh, I planned to expose myself to her later but" he didn't want to fight alongside her for now, especially when he didn't yet perfect his new skill set.

"You can give any excuse and not go," Antoan suggested.

"And make her have more doubts? No, I'll go," Bloom decided, "but let's do it after we get rid off Gerard."

"It works," Antoan said before adding, "when do you plan on gathering more players?"

"After getting rid off Gerard," Bloom replied, "after we do that, you'll simply post the videos on forums and announce our desire to expand our forces."

"Me?" Antoan was surprised, "not you?"

"In front of the world you'll be the real leader inside the game," Bloom said before adding, "everything I do will be accounted for. This way I can escape the hype brought by these deeds for now."

"Well" Antoan glanced over the team in the distance.

"Didn't you say you trust them?" Bloom laughed.

"I do, but I didn't mean that," Antoan sighed, "anyone with little mind will know you are the one behind any success we have. Only a few fights with you and they'll know."

Bloom knew his butler had a good point, "that's why I won't appear often," he muttered, "or to be safe I would only work with those you trust not to leak a word out."

"This" the face of Antoan showed his hesitation.

"I know this isn't a perfect solution," Bloom reassured him, "but at least we can delay the spread of news."

Antoan didn't say anymore as he stood there alongside his master while the team kept killing one team of monsters after another.

'Where are you?'

Suddenly this message came from the henchman of Gerard.

'Leveling up somewhere,' Bloom simply answered, 'why are you asking?'

'It's time,' the player sent.

'What about my fees?'

'Granted.'

'Alright, where and when do you want me to come?' Bloom had an evil grin over his face at this moment.

After all he was getting the info he wanted simply from the mouth of Gerard himself.

'Right now, I'll send you the coordinates,' the player sent, 'don't be late, the boss is in a hurry.'

Bloom revised the coordinates and found them to be outside the village. "Not a problem," he laughed before turning to his team, "boys, it's time."

"Are we going now?" Antoan came to him and asked with a big smile over his face.

"Sure, let the boys be ready," Bloom said before glancing over the players who started to fight faster to kill every single monster in front of them. "It's now time to start our revenge for Bloom," he shouted in a strong tone while the expressions over the faces of his team told him everything about their feelings right now.

They were very thrilled with this.

"Distribute these," he took out tickets and gave to Antoan, "I'll go first then you'll follow after five minutes."

"What's the plan?" one of the players asked.

"Simply killing the team we meet," Bloom casually said, "then you'll have all to go back to the village when I give you the order."

"But" Antoan was surprised by this.

"Trust me," Bloom patted on his shoulder, "we won't let them escape."

"But we can't attack them in the village or else" another player expressed his doubts.

"It's alright," Bloom simply laughed, "I got everything ready just don't delay in returning when I give you the signal."

They all nodded as they received their tickets while watching Bloom vanish from their sights.

'Bring the boys to these coordinates,' the moment he appeared in the village he sent this brief message with the coordinates he received to Antoan.

'I'm in the village,' he sent to the henchman of Gerard, 'I'm coming right away.'

'Don't be late,' the player sent, 'the boss is anxious to move out.'

'Don't worry,' he sent to the player while moving outside the village. 'I'll keep you posted with my location all the time,' he sent to Antoan.

'When should we strike?' Antoan asked.

'The moment you arrive,' Bloom said before adding, 'I'll be in the opponent's team, so make the boys ready for that.'

'This how the hell did you manage to infiltrate their ranks?'

'Hahaha, it was simply easy,' Bloom was amused by his butler's reaction before adding, 'don't waste time and come now.'

'We are already there.'

Bloom didn't halt his steps as he went forward with great speed.

"You are late."

When he arrived at the coordinates he found a large group of players gathered there. Bloom glanced all around and noticed strong looking players everywhere.

"Sorry, I came once you said," he shrugged.

"Come, the boss is very interested in meeting our ace player."

Bloom followed the player who had a very proud smile over his face. He was mistaken for Bloom for a great gain, didn't know he was just bringing calamity over his boss and everyone here.

"So you are that strong player?"

Gerard had a huge body. Standing there amongst his elites he looked like a giant. "What level are you at now?"

"Twenty-eight," Bloom simply answered and his words made everyone around startled.

"Damn man," the player who brought him here commented, "you were at twenty-five a couple of days ago!"

"Hahaha, I've just got lucky encounters and completed some quests," Bloom tried to cover up on his insane speed of leveling up.

"But you said you hated quests," Gerard said in doubtful eyes.

"I do," Bloom nodded, "but that doesn't mean I would reject anything good I meet in my way."

"Hahaha," Gerard stood silent for a couple of moments before breaking out in laughter, "I like this guy, he is simply like me."

Bloom only kept a calm smile over his face while watching everyone around laughing with Gerard. He was glancing over the joy over their faces and picturing the despair they would get after he acted. 'Laugh as much as you like, soon you'll only cry in regret.'
