Chapter 228: Another Plan To Make Him Cry

Chapter 228: Another Plan To Make Him Cry

The player didn't take long as in less than ten minutes he returned to Bloom and said:

"The boss is very interested in hiring you, however he wonders how come your name isn't known yet?"

Bloom was already ready for such question as he simply smiled and said:

"I chose to hide my own levels. Besides I began at a desolate village at one of the weakest kingdoms out there."

"Which one?"

"Teot kingdom."

The player nodded as he had never heard of such a kingdom before. "Seems a nameless one for me."

"Yeah, players there are such losers," Bloom smiled as he already did his research and chose this kingdom to be his escape goat. "how much is your boss planning to pay?"

"For your level it's one million contribution points per month," the player said with a smile over his face.

Bloom already was aware of the fees paid by Gerard. For his level he should get folds of such amount. He didn't know if Gerard was stingy with him or that player was stealing.

"This won't do," Bloom turned around and started to walk without adding one more word.

"Wait," the player shouted, "this is a nice price to make a nice living of your own out there."

"I know I am worth more than that," Bloom didn't even stop, "tell your boss my apologies, his offer is much cheaper than I wanted."

"What do you ask for then?" The player ran and started to walk beside Bloom once reached him. "Our boss isn't stingy, whatever you ask for he will answer provided that it's not too much."

"Hmm" Bloom stopped in his tracks while acting like he was deeply considering these words. "let's see at least twenty contribution points on a monthly basis," he said before adding with a shocked expression over the player's face, "and that's on condition the tasks asked for me aren't that hard and the team isn't lousy to get me killed. Otherwise I would prefer to play alone and not lose levels with some losers."

"You" the face of the player showed how enraged he was by Bloom's mockery, "good I'll pass these words for the boss. If he agrees then I'll send you a message. I've added you as a friend."

"Thanks," Bloom accepted the add, "I'll wait for the answer. By the way, what is this mission all about?"

"Getting some quest done," the player said.

"Only a quest?" Bloom sneered as he tried to provoke this idiotic player in saying more.

And the player simply fell into the trap like a helpless lamb.

"This isn't just a normal quest It's a very high level quest. I doubt you even got your hands over such a quest so far."

"I don't accept quests," Bloom ignored the high tone in the player's words, "but I'll be interested in seeing how difficult this quest will be."

"Provided that the boss agrees," the player said, "now leave and wait for the answer in two days. If you are recruited, then prepare yourself to move with us on day three."

Bloom's smile only got wider as he now got an exact answer to the most important question when!

Bloom returned to the village as he roamed around it without any goal in mind. He just was thinking about his next plan, how could he attack and detonate this strong powerhouse of Dockrey with the deepest losses for his enemy.

"I should not reside only on zeroing him," he muttered, "I should be prepared for Dockrey's reinforcements as well. Sigh, I doubt I can do it in this short window."

He knew once he started targeting Gerard, the latter wouldn't hesitate to contact his boss and ask for help. Bloom didn't want this to happen, and his thoughts led him to a total different approach.

"There must be a way," he muttered, but the next instant a message from Antoan came that made him postpone thinking about this issue for now.

'They left,' he simply sent this, 'there is no one in the village now.'

'Go back and level up like usual,' Bloom sent, 'I believe Jeffrey would leave behind some spies for him.'

'This'

'Don't worry, just go back and level up and after a couple of hours I'll meet you in the village.'

Bloom closed the chat between him and Antoan then opened the black auction. There he started navigating all the items sold, but he couldn't find anything that might be useful.

"Sigh, as I feared such items won't be sold there," he closed the auction after an hour of constantly checking everything inside before he seriously thought about it. "How could I be able to achieve such a feat?"

He was puzzled, and then he went to the auction house in the village and started scanning everything there with no result.

"Sigh, it seems it's a bit harder than I thought," he took out a ticket before sending a message to Antoan to meet him and went to Antoan's village.

There he headed towards the restaurant and hired a secret room in it. He paid five hundred gold coins to rent this room for the rest of the day, but it was worth the trouble.

"Sorry for being late," Antoan said the moment he entered the room using the password Bloom sent to him, "I left the boys leveling up and faked visiting the potion store."

"No problem," Bloom was eating a lobster before adding, "sit, how more levels did the boys gain now?"

"Ahem one," Antoan looked embarrassed, "leveling up with you is much faster."

"I know, and gaining one level in hours isn't bad," Bloom said before adding, "but I want them all to be level twenty at least in two days."

"This" Antoan showed a struggling expression over his face before adding, "I'll try my best."

"I'll help you as well," Bloom laughed, "don't worry, I know it's hard to gain levels fast after level fifteen is reached."

"Sigh, it's really a pain," Antoan nodded, "any news about Gerard?"

"He is amassing any player with level twenty or above," Bloom said and Antoan got the meaning.

"He is planning to move out in two days?"

"In three," Bloom said before adding, "what our little princess was doing here?"

"She gave me some useless excuses, but I'm pretty sure they were here for you."

"I know," Bloom nodded, "and the negotiations?"

"She seemed interested by the materials you gave me, but" he paused before sighing, "she didn't agree yet."

"Interesting," Bloom muttered, "what is she requiring then? More materials?"

"Strong players," Antoan said, "I believe they were here to scout and recruit you."

Bloom couldn't help but laugh while Antoan only helplessly smiled. "Trying to make me join my old team? That's hilarious!"

"She asked me of any strong and unique player I might know of, and she said in a direct way that the condition to join any forces would require adding this player to their team."

"This" Bloom knew this would be an impossible condition to be met, "and what did you tell her?"

"I'll look around," Antoan shrugged, "I didn't know what to say back then."

"Hmm" Bloom thought about this before adding, "she is amassing her forces as well I didn't think things would reach this far."

Antoan knew whom Bloom was referring to. "She didn't get over your loss."

"Hey, I'm still here y'know."

"Hahaha, you and I know that, but not her."

"What if" Bloom paused while thinking deeper about this, "we adopted her cause?"

"We are the front force opposing Dockrey?" Antoan said before nodding, "I can act as the one trying to avenge master, but she might not agree."

"Because of me?"

"Indeed," Antoan nodded, "she doesn't know you yet."

Bloom thought for a moment before he cracked a smile. "Listen, I need you to send her a short message."

"Saying what?"

"Wait for our new master's revenge for Bloom," Bloom grinned while his butler showed a hesitant expression.

"I don't think this is a good idea."

"Afraid of spies?" Bloom asked before laughing, "don't worry about them. They don't know whom we are targeting and they won't know except it's too late."

"But we want to kill that bastard until he hit the bottom," Antoan said, "if we alerted their forces early on then they will send reinforcements soon."

"Don't worry, I've a new plan under making just for such a scenario," Bloom said before resting his back on the comfortable seat he was sitting on, "either way I figured that Gerard wouldn't hesitate to ask for help."

"This"

"Relax, I got this," Bloom laughed before adding, "go back now and lead them to hit level twenty fast."

"What about you?" Antoan asked in a loss, "won't you come to help?"

"Not now," Bloom shook his head, "I need to go out and search for something."

"I might help."

"Just focus on grinding monsters and that would be enough for now," Bloom said before adding, "go now and wait for my message."

Antoan didn't say anymore as he exited the room, leaving his master inside with a heavy mind.
