As he said this, the man who had been reporting Long Yu and the others realized that the people from the 20th floor had a connection with the military.

Fearing that Long Yu and the others would retaliate against him, the man quietly slipped away. Unbeknownst to them, the man didn't stay in the area but fled the Ling Yuan apartment complex.
