This little child suddenly caught Xu Ke’s attention.

His eyes widened as he gazed at the others.

Moving closer out of curiosity, he came to the child’s front, stretched out his hand to poke the child’s face, and asked curiously, “Are you also a human? How come you’re on this Demon Mountain?”

With a tilt of his head, the child also lifted a hand and pulled at Xu Ke’s face in return.

“Who dictated that humans can’t live on Demon Mountain? Aren’t you also a mortal who ended up here unharmed?”

He answered earnestly.

Xu Ke was stupefied at first, but then he seemed to be in full agreement with the child’s words.

He clapped happily: “You’re absolutely right. Beasts and humans can certainly coexist harmoniously.”

“That’s indeed the case in our sect.”

“I believe it’s the same here in Nanming’s Demon Mountain.”

A hint of naivety flashed in the child’s eyes and he shook his head: “Beast Taming Sect? But I heard that all the human cultivators in the Beast Taming Sect control and manipulate Demonic Beasts using the Beast Taming Secret Technique against their will.”

“Many of the Demonic Beasts don’t genuinely wish to become their Spirit Beasts. They’re just controlled by the techniques and have no say over their situation.”

“Is this what you call coexistence in harmony?”

The child asked seriously.

Upon hearing this, Xu Ke quickly waved his hands, saying anxiously, “That’s not the case…”

He opened his mouth wanting to refute, but didn’t know where to start.

When the Beasts below heard this, they all burst into an uproar.

The ‘flesh ball’ squirmed, the light and shadow above the Beasts’ heads fluctuated.

Thus, all the Beasts once again fell in silence.

“Therefore, for the future of our race, I need to hear your opinions.”

From one of the light orbs beneath the ‘flesh ball’, a creature whose appearance resembled the round, featureless Emperor One, spoke, “Your Majesty Emperor One, we will follow your words.”

“I, leader of the Purple Clan, will forever be your most loyal subordinate!”

With the words of the Purple Clan leader, quite a number of Demonic Beasts below began shouting in agreement.

“Oh? So, what if I decide to lead you all away from the Xuanhuang World to find a new home?” To the surprise of all Beasts present, Emperor One suddenly asked in a cold voice.
