Chapter 373 Martial Arts?
Aur felt a deep fear in his heart as he gazed at the image of the terrifying bull that seemed to cover the whole world.
"What kind of thing is this?"
His mind raced, his thoughts focused, as the brawny man drew closer and closer to him.
Strangely, Aur didn't feel any fear. Instead, a deep sense of excitement radiated from every part of his being.
Aur's blood and Qi flared, causing the void itself to crackle under his presence. His heart pumped with excitement as he launched himself toward the brawny man.
However, compared to the faint image of the giant bull that seemed to stomp across the world with the terrifying presence of a tier-four being, Aur himself had no such image.
He only emitted the presence of a pitiful tier-three existence.
Compared to the brawny man, Aur's presence was simply not enough. Yet, Aur remained completely unfazed; his expression gradually grew more battle-hungry and maddened.
The two left a trail across the world as they collided.
At the moment of impact, Aur subtly angled himself, narrowly dodging the great sword by a hair's breadth, then he landed a punch squarely on the man's face.
Even though his broad sword missed, the brawny man didn't seem to care. His momentum only increased as his body crashed into Aur's, taking the punch directly to his face.
Aur's eyes widened as he felt a tremendous force. His bones creaked, and every fiber of his muscles tore.
Boom!
The earth trembled and cracked, forming numerous ravines in the ground.
Aur was sent hurtling through the air, launched far into the mountains and beyond.
It was a scene of utter destruction!
The brawny man opened his mouth and spoke with a crazed expression, "Interesting," while raising his hand and throwing the great sword spiraling in Aur's direction.
The sound barrier broke and reality itself seemed to collapse as the spiraling greatsword traveled at a terrifying speed, possibly even at the speed of light.
However, the speed of light and the sound barrier were much higher in this world compared to his previous world, by at least a hundred times, due to strange physics or other phenomena.
Aur coughed violently as he stood up from the rumble of the mountain, keenly feeling the danger in his surroundings while his body was in a miserable state already.
"What kind of monster is this guy?" he muttered with disbelief in his heart.
This felt a little too similar to the groups of soldiers he had encountered with Rowena—they were all mortal but had the strength of Tier One.
At that time, when he asked Rowena about it, she simply said that it was because of higher tier spells increasing their mortal body. Even when she became completely subservient to him, her answer was the same.
However, now that Aur carefully considered it…
"It might not be as simple as she stated."
Aur narrowed his eyes. Even the Primordial Demon and the Holy Magic book were shocked at that sight. If it was as simple as just a higher tier spell, then they would never be so shocked.
After all, her position was still low, and she seemed to be even abandoned at a moment's notice with Lord Forest not caring about her in the least.
As he was thinking while carefully recovering his body, in an instant, Aur felt a terrifying force descend on him, crushing the surrounding area with the ground being instantly destroyed.
Aur looked up with a look of horror on his face at the faint shadow.
"Damn it," he gritted his teeth while lunging forward. The great sword had not even landed, but there was already a terrifying pressure in the air.
Aur's body was still injured, with his muscles tightening and his bones practically half broken already.
"This was not the vision I saw in the future…"
From all the information he had, although this talent to see the future felt almost omnipresent, it wasn't accurate and was ever-changing.
But this future still gave a rough idea about what will likely happen in the future, which was still invaluable to him.
Aur gathered all the strength he had while facing the greatsword head-on with his mind racing to think of a solution right here and now.
Although his blood was pumping in excitement, he wasn't stupid. If that really landed on him without any measure, then his condition would be even more severe…
"I can use that."
Aur thought to himself as the spiralling greatsword and he collided against each other, causing a terrifying impact in the surroundings.
Just at the point of contact, a red form of energy seemed to emanate before the entire place was covered in dust.
The brawny man looked from a distance, the corner of his lips curling up as he shot forward again.
From the dust, a small shadow slowly fell to the ground with a "doom".
It was inevitably Aur, his entire body dented like he was hit by a truck, his eyes closed. There was a red form of energy in the shape of a sword in his hand.
This was a sword intent of his very own creation, taken inspiration from the spell given by Rowena and made by his blood and Qi.
Aur's eyes were bloodshot as he blankly stare at the sky, the sword intent flickering because of his unstable blood and Qi.
"What should I do?"
This thought crossed Aur's mind as he weakly looked around. His golden blood was already running thin, and his self-regeneration would soon stop.
With just two moves, the brawny man had utterly destroyed him.
Aur's ears twitched as he heard the rustling in the air. The brawny man floated above him, looking down with a trace of disdain.n/ô/vel/b//in dot c//om
"You're dead, brat. Tell me your wish as a dying warrior. I'll grant you the option to make one last request."
Aur looked at the brawny man and, in a despairing tone, asked:
"You don't seem like a Wizard. How did you reach Tier Four?"
"Haha," the brawny man laughed crazily. "Since you're dying, I'll fulfil that wish. I reached Tier Four the same way you did—by using Martial Arts…"
"Martial Arts?" Aur tilted his head, his ears twitching. All paths except for wizard paths were suppressed in the world, so even if there was such a thing as martial arts, how could it be possible for the man to achieve his level solely through that?
"Didn't you achieve your strength from the Martial Arts of the body path?"
The brawny man narrowed his eyes as he glanced at Aur again.
"No, you didn't practise martial arts, neither did you practise anything. How could you reach Tier Three without it?" His lips seemed to tremble as he looked at Aur with disbelief.
"What has happened to the world-?"
Before he could speak further, the world around him turned into a blurry channel.
The figure of the brawny man rapidly changed image statically, and then in front of Aur's very eyes, the world seemed to collapse.
When he looked again, he was back on the third step of the stairs with his broken body.
"This…" Aur was stunned.
