Chapter 101: Chapter 88: Rescue, Boldly Making a Move

Yang Ji didn't linger in the Hell Arena. He followed his original path and hurried back.

But just as he had left for a hundred li, the Life and Death Talisman he carried suddenly produced an extremely strong vibration.

"One signal, two signals, three signals, four signals... a total of fifteen signals, almost at the same time. Could it be that fifteen disciples encountered danger simultaneously?" Yang Ji took out the Life and Death Talisman with his opposite hand, his brows furrowing.

He looked in one direction, all the vibrations pointed to the front-right.

While Yang Ji was pondering, he put away the Life and Death Talisman and stealthily followed the direction of the distress signal.

He closed his pores, concealed his breath, gathered his spirit, and made no slightest movement.

Yang Ji crept along the ground without giving away the slightest trace of his presence.

His breathing was adjusted to be long and subtle, barely perceptible, and his spirit was closely guarded, daring not to have the slightest fluctuation.

When he was in hiding, he was like a stone that, unless seen, would not be discovered.

Following the guidance of the Life and Death Talisman, it wasn't long before he arrived at the edge of a valley.

"Earth Demons! A group of Earth Demons! How could there be so many Earth Demons?"

At first glance, Yang Ji was slightly surprised. Above the valley, flocks of Earth Demons were flying, and screeching in mid-air. The sky within a li was completely blocked off.

From within the valley, bursts of energy fluctuations emerged, and several small black spots could be seen fighting.

The Earth Demons hovered in mid-air, all looking towards the valley below, their excited roars resonating endlessly.

"Are disciples of the Wuji Dao Sect trapped inside the valley? With so many Earth Demons, the situation for the disciples below must be very grave indeed."

Yang Ji focused his gaze and saw that there were at least hundreds of Earth Demons. The vast majority of them were spectating a battle between two powerful beings.

One was a woman in a purple dress with an extremely sharp temperament, while the other had horns on his head and a human-like figure—an Earth Demon.

At the scene, Yang Ji's pupils dilated, realizing that the one fighting the woman was actually an Earth Demon Emperor, an entity as powerful as a human Divinity Transformation cultivator.

And the woman, capable of fighting it, was clearly a Divinity Transformation powerhouse as well.

"Hmm?" Glancing around the valley, Yang Ji's expression changed slightly. Around the fight between the two powerful figures, many injured Dao Sect disciples lay struggling to breathe on the ground.

"So many Dao Sect disciples are injured?" Yang Ji's eyebrows were tightly furrowed as he thought, "They must have fallen into the trap of the Earth Demon Emperor."

As his gaze shifted, he noticed that apart from the previously mentioned Divine Transforming Female Cultivator, there were two others still in combat, guarding the wounded disciples.

One was a child about eight years old, who was not wearing the purple sect garments, but a white robe instead.

Hovering above his head was a Sun Moon Wheel, filled with the power of pure yang that was surging intensely. As the Sun Moon Wheel revolved, it emitted dazzling brilliance, as forceful as if a Nascent Soul Late Stage cultivator were striking with all their might.

His face was youthful, but his eyes showed a stubborn resistance, unwilling to retreat an inch. That way, with the Sun Moon Wheel turning wildly above him, spewing divine light, scores of Earth Demons dared not approach. It was as if all evil could not infringe, and all demons could not enter.

What surprised Yang Ji was that the Sun Moon Wheel was actually a Supreme Treasure Device, hence the enormous power.

It was just a pity that the cultivator using it was of low cultivation, only at the Golden Core early stage, and could not unleash its full potential.

Yet even so, the horde of Earth Demons dared not approach.

Beyond this child, there was another person who remained standing.

She was a female, battling a high-ranking Earth Demon King. Although the woman also had the strength of the Nascent Soul Third Realm, she was flustered and merely defensive, with flaws exposed everywhere.

"Hehe, such a beautiful human woman, I like," said the high-ranking Earth Demon King, a black light flashing on his body. His ferocious face transformed and, in the next instant, he became a man in a black robe, weaving around her. In the midst of battle, he surprisingly showed mercy and did not strike with all his might. It seemed he was toying with her.

The Female Inner Sect Disciple was furiously dodging his relentless attacks, her face flushed with shame and anger, yet she was speechlessly enraged.

The two were not much different in realm, but her combat abilities were far inferior to the high-ranking Earth Demon King.

"Evil demon, die!"

The Female Inner Sect Disciple shouted angrily, her eyebrows frosted over as her attacks grew sharper.

"Hehe, I've heard plenty of such righteous words, but I never expected them to sound so solemn coming from you. You startled me so much that I nearly got tricked, almost believing myself to be a bloodthirsty demon king," the high-ranking Earth Demon King taunted.

"Since you describe our Earth Demon race in such negative terms, I shall take the role of a demon king today. In front of your fellow brothers and sisters, I will absorb your yin essence while slowly biting you to death. It will be a long process, which should prove quite interesting, hehe."

"Shameless vile demon, face my sword!"

The Female Inner Sect Disciple was trembling with fury, her beautifully composed face marred by anger, as her flying sword whistled around her, turning into streaks of light as it slashed towards the Earth Demon King.
