Chapter 1390 We Compete
1390 We Compete
"I just remembered someone saying that I was one lucky girl," said Raelle with a thoughtful look on her face. "I have come to understand that I am indeed too lucky in life. Whoever comes into my life likes to spoil me. No one tried to restrain or temper my personality. You all seem to have way too much confidence in me to let me run wild like this. What if I walked the wrong path?"
"Everything about you is too straight!" was Shui Xian's answer as he smiled teasingly at her. "Just like your sexuality."
"Who said I'm straight?" asked Raelle making Shui Xian choke. Raelle smiled at him and patted his back soothingly as she added, "I think my sexual orientation is Xian! I seemed to have been a very principled person before you entered my life. Sometimes I wonder what kind of magic it was that the moment we first met at that banquet, I was willing to not only get close to you but also wanted to take a bite of those lips."
Shui Xian took a sip of the water to calm himself down before giving her a helpless look, "Wifey, you really need to give me a warning before speaking something like this. Don't catch me off guard everywhere."
"Okay, I'll try," she replied to him.
"That was so perfunctory. Where did you learn that?"
"I'm picking up bad things." Nôv(el)B\\jnn
"Then don't."
"But you don't me to experience everything. So, I'm absorbing every experience like a sponge."
"You better squeeze out the bad habits from your learning experiences."
"Hey, that's not fair!"
"It is," he argued.
In this lively manner of going back and forth, they finished their dinner. Seeing that there was nothing else to do in this long flight, Raelle continued to play with Shui Xian's slender and bony fingers as she loved to do it. She threaded her fingers through his, put their hands together to check the size difference, and rubbed every inch of his hand making Shui Xian feel itchy to do something.
Shui Xian took his tablet from the side and said, "Let's play some games."
"What game?" she asked as she put her chin on his shoulder. Shui Xian looked through the games he had and asked for her opinion, "How about sudoko?"
"Really? You wanna play a number game with your wife who was born highly sensitive to numbers? Are you sure you are not asking for a beating?"
Shui Xian hummed in realization. Indeed, why would he look for a beating? He couldn't possibly win in such a mind game when the other person was Raelle who just loved numbers from a young age and understood numbers better than anything else in the world.
"Then... Candy crush?"
"What is that?" asked Raelle.
"Baby, you really need to learn about the world around you."
"Aren't I learning everything from you?"
Shui Xian rubbed her head as he agreed, "Yes, you are. And I'm proud of you for that."
"Do you want me to make you more proud?" asked Raelle seriously.
"I'm already very proud of you."
"But I can do better."
"I don't think that's needed. Don't tire yourself. Just do what you can do easily."
"Oh..."
After looking through all the games on his tablet, Shui Xian put it away and suggested, "Let's do something you have never done before."
"What is that?" she asked curiously because Raelle was certain she had plenty of things that she had never done before. She didn't know which one he wanted her to try now.
Shui Xian opened his bag and took out a green craft paper which made Raelle frown in confusion as she couldn't understand what was the purpose of this craft paper but she didn't ask either as she knew that she'd understand it if she waited patiently. Then she watched as that craft paper slowly but neatly folded and turned into a jumping frog. Shui Xian put the frog in her hand and said, "This is for you."
Raelle scrunched up her nose at him in confusion, "Really? A frog?"
"It's a jumping frog, not a simple frog!"
"There is a difference?" she asked.
"There is," he retorted. "Give me a minute." Then he took another craft paper in a light green color and folded another jumping frog. "This one is for me."
"Okay, we both have a jumping frog. Now what?" she asked.
"Now, we compete!"
"Huh?"
Shui Xian laughed at her reaction and put the frog on the table in front of them and poked the butt of the frog making it jump to a farther place. He looked at her and said, "Now, it's your turn. Let's see whose frog jumps the farthest!"
Raelle gave him a very complicated look, "Hubby, I love you but what the hell is this? Are we kids?"
"Have you ever done this before?" he questioned her seriously.
"No," she replied.
"Then that's all. Who cares if it's childish or not? It's fun!"
"What's fun in it?" asked Raelle. But seeing him insisting, she still tried to make the frog jump like him. It was her first time doing this though so she didn't control the strength very well and her frog wasn't able to jump as far as Shui Xian's.
"You lost," he said excitedly. "Okay? So what about..."
Her words died down as he captured her lips in an intense kiss. His lips rubbed against her soft petals and he bit them lightly before plundering into her mouth taking her breath away crazily. His tongue wreaked havoc inside her mouth, not giving her a chance to even react or catch her breath.
But after all this time, Raelle had also learned her lesson. She quickly adjusted her state and started responding to his wild kiss. He sucked on her tongue, licked every inch of her mouth, and tasted her completely. When Raelle wanted to hug his neck, he held her wrists and held them above her head in a domineering manner.
He seemed to want to take everything from her, from her taste to her breath. Everything about her was something he wanted to possess. He touched her forehead with his own and panted heavily as he looked at her misted eyes. She looked at her with her moist gaze and asked, "Are you sure I lost? I think I won."
Shui Xian chuckled and his shoulders shook with his movement as his hot breath brushed against her face making her want to capture that breath once again and melt into it.
"It's rare for you to behave like this," commented Raelle as he wiped her wet lips that had turned red from their kiss and looked even more appealing. "Just because I hide this side of mine doesn't mean that I don't have it in me."
Raelle nodded her head in understanding. She bit his chin and said, "I like it. No, I quite like it. I didn't think being led by someone would feel so good for once."
Shui Xian kissed the corner of her eye and got back into his seat saying, "I have been meaning to kiss you since the moment I saw you at the airport. But I wanted to hold it in. However, my patience just ran out sooner than I expected."
"So, you played this childish game? Do you even need a reason for kissing?"
"No reason needed. But what's wrong with adding some fun into it?"
Raelle shook her head at him, "As long as you are happy." She put her head on his shoulder and hugged his arm lazily. "I think love is very magical. It can make you enjoy the things you once found disturbing."
Shui Xian understood why she said this and didn't say anything else but leaned his head against hers. "Did you click any photos today? How about showing me some?"
"I didn't click many but I think others did," answered Raelle and took out her phone to check. She did receive pictures on her WeChat and scrolled through them while telling Shui Xian about the stories behind each photo.
They laughed together and slept together, not realizing when the long flight got to its destination. It was early morning when they landed at the private airport in the capital of Country G. Shui Xian took it upon himself to collect their personal things as their luggage was not their business, someone would take care of it.
As they exited the private jet, Shui Xian looked at the evergreen environment around them making him feel like he was in paradise right now. This city always felt like it was in spring with beautiful weather and scenery. And it also nourished the most beautiful woman of his life.
He held Raelle's hand and descended the stairs with her. "What now?" she questioned as she looked at the familiar environment and felt the familiar air.
"You should know better about what's next," replied Shui Xian. "This... This is your territory, wifey! I'm considered a guest of this city now!"
"No, you are considered the son-in-law!" answered Raelle as she pointed with her chin towards the chopper that was waiting for them.
