However, Yuehui Menglong was as pure as the first snowflake on a mountain peak. The sight of her sect founder sitting on Yang Wei's lap made her face tighten in discomfort.

Bai Suzhen's face shifted from a blissful expression to a more serious one, but she still wore a smug smile.

"After nearly a month, we've finally got some information on the likely whereabouts of Fairy Su Meirong..."

This was primarily because the Godless Sky Empire, despite having all the traits of a cultivation organization, wasn't officially recognized as a sect. There were even rumors floating around that the Godless Star Record Sect had a Supreme Elder guarding them who was quasi-Divine level.

The spies Bai Suzhen sent to the Eastern Continent got ambushed and wiped out before they could even step into the Empire. Fortunately, one of them managed to store some intel on a special teleportation jade slip and sent it back to her.

Thanks to that slip, she discovered that the Godless Sky Empire was putting pressure on the Great Wulong Forest, which Su Meirong owned. The whole operation to imperialise the forest was being led by Daoist Demon-Sky, one of the Hallmasters from the Godless Star Record Sect.

Thinking ahead, she concluded that if someone as powerful as Su Meirong couldn't crush the Empire alone, then the rumors about the Empire having a quasi-Divine level Supreme Elder were likely true.
