He darted one last glare at Lin Hanjing before storming out of the room, when Xiao Hua left Ye Liu and the rest also took their leave. Compared to Xiao Hua who was much more close to Lin Hanjing, they were not in any position to say anything to Lin Hanjing.

He opened his mouth to scream for help but then the figure darted over to where he was standing and then covered his mouth before pushing him down on the bed.

However, Lin Hanjing didn’t struggle as the woman who pushed him to the bed was none other than Yu Tong.

"Mhmm…Mhmmm…" Lin Hanjing spoke against Yu Tong’s palm. However, not a single comprehensible word came out of his mouth as Yu Tong made sure that he wouldn’t be able to make a sound.

"Hanjing, I will ask you one final time. Are you willing to marry me or not?" Yu Tong questioned him with a wild look in her eyes. There was something that was very off about her which scared Lin Hanjing, he stared at her eyes as he pointed to her palm with his eyes.

He was telling her that she needed to move her hand off his mouth for him to answer but Yu Tong didn’t move her hand, instead, she said, "Just shake your head if it’s a no or nod if it’s a yes. That will be enough for me, so now answer!"

Lin Hanjing stiffened as he had never heard Yu Tong speak to him like this, even when she was angry with him she would be polite and respectful but this time around she looked like she was going crazy because of something. Nôv(el)B\\jnn

He stared at her for a while before shaking his head, even though it killed him in doing so, Lin Hanjing thought this was the right decision to make.

"I see," the light in Yu Tong’s eyes dimmed. She stared at him and muttered, "So all this while I was the only one who thought that you had some feelings for me, didn’t I? I thought that I finally made my way through your heart but——" she closed her eyes before pulling herself off his body and walking away.

Lin Hanjing heard the sound of window panes closing and covered his face once more as his muffled sobs echoed in the room.
