Chapter 428: 156, what? I’m buying breakfast for Chen Shanhe? Lin Mo is confused_2

Everyone remained silent, waiting for Lin Siyu’s answer.

“Little sister, just give us a straight answer, huh? What’s the deal with hiding behind your sister-in-law?”

“Darling, tell us what you’re really thinking.”

“Yes.”

“Little sister, be brave. You can do it.”

In reality, everyone knew that their feelings for each other were enough, but since this layer of their relationship had not been broken through, there was always a bit of awkwardness.

If they could take advantage of this trip abroad to get their marriage settled, it would be a good thing.

Originally, Lin Changshui and Lin Mo were inclined to let nature take its course, but the two of them really weren’t making much of an effort. It had been almost a year and there still hadn’t been any tangible progress in their relationship.

Their hesitance was like they were in a South Korean drama, and their audience was getting anxious along with them.

“I… I…” Lin Siyu finally steeled herself and, lifting her head, said, “About getting married… I really haven’t thought it through… But… But I can agree to be your girlfriend.”

Agree to be his girlfriend? Zhang Li was ecstatic inside, wanting desperately to hug Lin Siyu, but with Lin Mo, Li Jinwen, and his future father-in-law present, he dared not move.

The atmosphere turned quite awkward.

Apart from Lin Siyu and Zhang Li, everyone else was experienced enough to understand what was going on in their hearts.

“Uh… I’m going to take a shower.”

“I’m going to check how far we are on the flight.”

“I’ll go for a shower too. Mr. Lin, would you help scrub my back?”

“Honey, I’ve never been to the cockpit of an airplane before. Shall we go have a look?”

Everyone got up to do their own thing, leaving a sweet space for the couple who had just confirmed their relationship.

Li Jinshan and Lin Changshui went for a shower.

Lin Mo, accompanied by Li Jinwen, walked down the narrow airplane aisle to the cockpit.

The visibility that night was not great. Looking out through the glass, it was so dark that it was hard to see anything, except occasionally, there would be a few dark clouds flashing with lightning in the distance.

Flying is the ultimate dream of mankind.

Even though they couldn’t see much, both Li Jinwen and Lin Mo felt a great novelty.

There were two seats in the cockpit, one for the captain and the other for the co-pilot.

“Mr. Lin, good evening.”

“Mr. and Mrs. Lin, good evening…”

Both pilots greeted Lin Mo with great respect upon seeing him.

Lin Mo asked the two in fairly fluent English, “May my wife and I sit in your seats?”

He had always wanted to experience what it was like to sit in the cockpit and control an airplane.

The ultimate dream for men was mecha, but in real life, piloting an airplane was the most attainable dream.

There were plenty of pilot training programs abroad, and Lin Mo, not lacking in funds, had always wanted to enroll in one but never got the chance.

The pressure from Chen Shanhe was simply too strong.

Even though it looked like his reign was over, Lin Mo felt that if Chen Shanhe wasn’t completely taken care of soon, he would be able to make a comeback even more quickly than himself.

No way around it.

That old guy was ruthless and shrewd and also very intelligent…

At least Lin Mo couldn’t imagine remaining calm and negotiating with kidnappers if his son was kidnapped.

Chen Shanhe truly didn’t care about those so-called family members.

A man who’s old in years and sly in ways, with enough life experience and ruthlessness, holding many lifesaving cards in his hands…

Such a person was a natural-born mastermind.

“Of course, you can. The aircraft is on autopilot right now. Just don’t mess with any of the instruments or buttons,” said the co-pilot, locking all of his controls and then standing up from his chair. He added, “But you can’t sit in the captain’s seat, please understand.”

Locking the co-pilot’s controls essentially turned it into a cabin with slightly better visibility; there was really nothing against sitting there.

“Alright, thanks for the trouble.”

Lin Mo made an elegant inviting gesture, smiling as he said, “Ms. Li, you can now fulfill a very important wish in your life.”

“Please.”

Li Jinwen took a step back, shaking her head nervously: “No… I can’t… I’m scared…”

“There’s nothing to be scared of; I’ve got you.”

Lin Mo supported Li Jinwen’s trembling body and slowly helped her sit in the co-pilot’s seat.

She seemed like a child who had received a beloved toy, exuding joy and excitement inside and out, her hands so nervous she didn’t know where to place them.

She wanted to touch the various high-tech looking buttons, afraid of causing any problems.

“Don’t be nervous, the buttons here are all locked and won’t pose any danger.”

Lin Mo stood behind her, comforting his wife while also curiously observing the sky beyond the porthole, weighing the wins and losses of this trip back to Grand Xia.

First of all, the benefits clearly outweighed the drawbacks.Nôv(el)B\\jnn

For one, the Rakshasa Chen Family had ceased to exist, and Chen Shanhe’s current fate was likely not looking too good.

He was either hiding somewhere or, like Lin Mo, had fled Grand Xia.

Of course, during the process, they had suffered quite a bit, but overall, it was a huge gain.

Next on the agenda was to prepare for that matter in the United States of America and to help Dark try to find an antidote.

Dark was too valuable.

Both publicly and privately, Lin Mo wanted to find a way to save him, or at least to prolong his life.

It was not an easy task, though,

With Dark’s hacking skills, breaking into the systems of the world’s major medical research organizations was as easy as walking into his own bedroom.
