Chapter 113: Eve (2)

"The elder brother will be Jim Jabat..." Charley spoke to Joe with her joyous tone of voice as she paused for a moment before she added, "And the younger brother will be Jin Jabat."

"Jim and Jin?" Joe repeated those names excitedly as he continued, "That's a great name!"

In fact, he didn't really care whatever the name of his sons would be. All he wanted was to become a father. It was just that, he never thought that his wife would actually give birth to a twin. His happiness had even increased a level!

Meanwhile...

Eve who was walking leisurely on her way to a certain direction had finally reached her destination. And it appeared that it was actually the place where Charley and her children were residing.

After a moment of pause, Eve then entered the house of Charley.

The midwives saw her, and the other party was actually smiling at them. But the midwives didn't put much attention on her as they only smiled back before walking past the other party.

The same went for Laude Jabat who was in the house as well and was impatiently waiting on the sofa for him to be called out already so that he could carry his grandsons. He saw Eve but didn't put any attention to her at all.

Until then, Eve entered the room where Charley and Joe were.

The both of them stared at her but didn't feel anything strange at all. They were even smiling back at her!

Even their sixth senses failed to notice that the one in front of them was actually, a demon!

"Oh, the child is healthy!" Eve remarked happily as she caught sight of one of the children of Charley.

"You think so too?!" Joe laughed out loud. He seemed to be really happy this time.

Charley only smiled and didn't say anything in response. But just like Joe, she really was happy as well from the other party's comment.

Eve then walked closer to Charley as she asked her, "Can I carry this child?"

"Sure, sure!" But instead of Charley, Joe was the one who responded to her. Charley chuckled softly as she saw her husband getting more and more excited. After which, she gave one of her children to Eve. It was Jin who the other party was eyeing on.

Eve then carried Jin into her arms as she remarked, "He would definitely be a strong Vessel for our King."

"You think so?" Joe responded happily.

"Of course," Eve replied as she added with a smile, "I will take away this child now, thank you for giving birth to him. So in return, I will spare your lives and the other child you have. Raise him well so that someday, our King will be satisfied when he consumes him."

"Sure, sure. Don't worry we will definitely give our all to raise him as a good food for your King." Joe responded happily.

"I will be leaving then." Eve smiled at him as she then turned around and walked out of the room in great leisure.

"Take care!" But before she could finally leave the room, Joe actually gave his blessings.

So then, Eve, with Jin in her arms, walked back to the portal under everyone's gazes. As if she was just walking in a park with a satisfied smile.

The same from before, the midwives saw her. But this time they saw her with a baby. And as always, they didn't put attention to it. Laude saw her too, people of the village saw her too, and even the Hunters fighting outside saw her as well. But no one put any attention on her at all. As if her very existence wasn't worth mentioning.

Outside the village, cries of agonies could be heard everywhere. Whether it was from the beasts or humans. But even then, it was as if music to Eve's ears. As she walked past the war zone, she then finally reached her distance to the portal. But before she could finally enter the portal, she muttered these words with a mocking tone of her joyous voice, "Humans really are stupid!"

After which, she floated to the red portal above as she entered it with a mission being accomplished in great leisure.

Although it appeared that her last words were as if only a mutter, everyone who saw her before all heard it as only then they realized about her existence. Cold sweats poured down on everyone's forehead as they just recalled about her entering the village.

The Hunters fighting the many beasts were startled as they found themselves losing their concentration in the fight. And the Otherworldly Monster Beasts wouldn't be so merciful to not take the openings. With that being said, many of the Hunters suffered badly and received a considerable amount of damage. The beasts then took the opportunity to retreat since their mission was already accomplished.

Laude on the other hand, including Joe and Charley, found their hearts palpitating wildly to death as they just realized what had just happened.

Charley's hands were shaking intensely as she carried one of her son, Jim, on her arms in horror. This time, it was not tears of joy, but it was now actually tears of pain that were streaming down to her cheeks.

"Waaaaahhhhh!!!!!" As if a child who had just lost a candy, Charley cried out loud. How could she not if one of her children was taken away by a demon right under her watch!

"H-how could this be..." Even Joe was at a loss. He was already considered one of the strongest in the Kingdom and yet, he still failed to realize that his son was actually taken away by a demon under his watch. Not only that, he appeared to be so happy on it as well!

Thud!

The door in the room was opened with a heavy thud as Laude entered in a rush and great unease. He swept his gaze around only to see and feel a gloomy aura looming inside the room.

"This..." Laude didn't know what to do. Even he himself was deceived! He had seen that woman entering the house and exiting with a baby, but he wasn't even able to realize what the other party really was, and the evil deed the other party had done.

"Eve..."

Amidst his uneasiness, Laude heard Joe muttering such a name. Only then he realized who was that woman who had taken away Charley's child.

Eve, she must be the Eve of the 666 Knights of Hell! The one who was called the Great Deceiver... Laude shuddered upon realizing that one of the 666 Knights of Hell, and the one who was one of the strongest among them, had actually come here to kidnap a child!

"I will kill you!!!"

Laude was still shocked upon realizing the existence of Eve when he heard his son, Joe, screaming in wrath. His son's bloodlust was exuded out from him as Laude couldn't help but to immediately teleport Charley and her son to somewhere safe together with him. Not only them, but he also had teleported all the midwives together with them.

Chad knew that he could never stop his son anymore, and he was helpless to even calm down the other party. After all, who would still remain calm when a parent lost their child right in front of them?

A dark red pillar of light then struck the sky as the house was completely shattered. The pillar pierced to the village barrier and another much bigger storm was formed.

Everyone shuddered. Be it the midwives, the villagers, or even the Hunters outside the village felt the terrifying aura unleashed by Joe. And they all realized that it was Joe!

Even the Otherworldly Monster Beasts that were trying to retreat since their mission had been fulfilled, couldn't move an inch anymore as they all felt the terrifying aura of the angered Joe.

"Just what the hell had happened!" One of the Hunters asked frantically to whoever would hear it.

"Can't you still realize it? You've seen that woman carrying a baby, then surely... Joe's child..." Another Hunter replied. But as reluctant as he was, he still added, "Joe's child has been taken away by that woman!"

Actually, everyone had already guessed what had just happened the moment they heard that woman saying that "human's really are stupid." It was just that, they wanted it to be confirmed with each other.

Everyone there was a High Ranker. Other's were even Advance Ranker like the Royal Hunters. But not even one of them had realized that they were actually, being deceived. What a terrifying existence!

They thought that that woman was just a passerby. But they didn't even ask themselves who would walk leisurely in the midst of a war? They couldn't even feel anything strange at all. They were being deceived to the point that their mind was as if, being distorted and controlled!

As they thought more of her, only one person appeared in their mind. And that was, one of the 666 Knights of Hell, Eve!
