Chapter 112: Eve (1)

Laude suddenly turned serious. He was afraid that to use his space ability, he needed to increase his limits again. His grandson was really pushing his limits! Laude could only think about it.

One must know that he was already using 15% of his full strength and he was still unable to cause considerable damage to this new creation of Jim he named Tokayo. But now, Jim had even fortified the space around so that he wouldn't be able to distort it so easily? Although Laude felt that it was interesting, he also felt that he was a bit pressured.

Laude knew that once Tokayo closed his distance to him, the other party would surely cause him some damage. After all, he had already seen personally the sucking capability of Jim and his minions. And Laude could feel that this Tokayo had the same life-sucking capability!

If only there was a sun, he wouldn't have felt so troubled. He wouldn't even need to increase his limits again and again.

On the other hand, knowing what had just happened, Tokayo was really happy. From what it appeared, he could finally show a good fight now.

But then, many tree branches made of blood popped up from the lake of blood as it followed Laude continuously. Laude could only try his best to dodge all of them. He was just thankful enough that he could still control freely the space within one meter radius of him. Although it was too short, it was more than enough for him to defend and to float in the midair.

Laude could feel that once those branches made of blood grazed at him, he would surely suffer. That being said, although he could dodge most of it, he was using as well the space within one meter distance to block some.

But as the time went by, it was getting more intense as not only tree branches made of blood were attacking him now, there were even beads of blood continuously shooting him from the lake of blood below.

"Space Armor!"

With the situation getting tougher, Laude finally used a skill to protect himself. His body was then being shrouded by something like a white light as even if the beads of blood or tree branches made of blood hit him, it would only appear that as if nothing happened. It was all being deflected as the moment it touch the Space Armor of Laude, it would immediately change directions. As if it was a light being reflected to a mirror.

Seeing the situation was solved, Laude then rushed to Tokayo to give him a good beating. Even with many branches made of blood popping from the lake of blood, and were trying to stop him, it was now, all useless as it couldn't prevent Laude from coming closer to Tokayo.

Hmph!

Seeing the other party who was actually coming at him, Tokayo could only harrumph coldly. He then raised his right hand in front of him as spherical blood gathered at once. It was about two times the size of his fist, and it was rotating incredibly fast. Although it gave off an incredible amount of Life Energy, Laude was more than sure that it was not to bring forth life, but to absorb it!

This was the first time Laude had seen that someone who was blessed with life was actually using this power to claim life. Laude was just wishing that his grandson Jim wouldn't use this power just to claim the lives of many others especially those who were innocent and powerless.

It was still fine to use this power against those scumbags like the criminal organization of Triangle of Sin since they weren't considered humans anyway. But to use this power against Hunter Association or humanity? Even if the other party was his grandson, he wouldn't think twice to kill the other party with his own hand.

Their human race was already in a dire situation against those demons. If this grandson of his would only cause trouble for their human race, just how was the future of humanity would be?

But thankfully, Jim was not like that. He was chosen by one of the Four Greatest Hunters and would soon receive the grace of the Cherubim.

It was just that, Jim was not the only one who was chosen by someone great. Jim's twin brother, Jin Jabat, was a Sovereign's Vessel as well! In other words, he was chosen by the Demon Kings as their vessel. Or to be more precise, Jin was chosen by the Sovereign of Death, 'Kamatayan!' A complete opposite to who chose Jim.

If Jim was already this powerful, then surely, his twin brother Jin was more than powerful compared to him. After all, ever since Charley had given birth to Jin, the other party was already been taken away by the demons, no, it was only a single demon!

Laude couldn't help but recall what had happened when Charley had given birth to her first children.

But of course, no one would dare to cause trouble in front of Joe. Besides, with their Biga village placed in a very special location, Dream Forest, no one could easily infiltrate it.

With that, only those who had the ability, or were given permission by the forest and wanted to join the feast had come.

But then, this happened...

As Charley was about to give birth to her children, and as she screamed in pain, she had caused a huge commotion that even the village barrier was affected. A pillar of silver light struck the sky coming from Charley as it caused a huge storm.

Everyone was then worried, especially Joe. He was hoping for a happy celebration and this thing would just happen to ruin his mood?

So then, as they all had expected, a high-level portal appeared just outside the village!

It was a red portal! An SS-rank dungeon! Almost everyone in the village was scared out of their wits, especially those lower-level Hunters and normal people. But of course, their worries didn't last for too long as they realized that they would be protected by the many guests invited by Joe. 

Those who could give out a fight were excited, just like Sam who was still grinning seeing the incoming disaster.

After some time, couple numbers of high-level Otherworldly Monster Beasts came out from the portal. It was a snake-type and lizard-type beasts! All of which were golden-horned and they were walking in their two feet, four feet, or even crawling on the ground.

Everyone was astonished by the sight. Because they could tell that not even one of the hundreds of beasts that came out from the portal was in a Middle Rank. Almost all of it was S-ranks and there were even a few SS-rank Otherworldly Monster Beasts.

After which, the fight had naturally, occurred. The many strong Hunters invited by Joe wouldn't be so merciful for these beasts that were so daring enough to come here.

Everyone was then, excited. This was what they called, a huge feast! It was a real celebration!

Joe was still worried if this sudden event would ruin the mood of his guests, but who would have thought that they would even feel much more pleased since they could show off their strength towards each other. With that, Joe forgot all his worries and let those guests he invited handle all the Otherworldly Monster Beasts for him. After all, he was too busy to wait for Charley to give birth to a child.

However, something unexpected happened.

One of the 666 Knights of Hell came out from the portal. And she was actually one of the strongest, the Great Deceiver, Eve!

As she came out, she didn't make a move to any humans around at all. But instead, she walked in great leisure in the midst of the war under the noses and eyes of every incredible Hunter around.

Even with anyone seeing her, no one even bothered to touch her as they only thought nothing much of her.

She then entered the village with great ease. She walked leisurely under the watches of all the humans inside the village. But no one still noticed her very existence. They saw her but no one realized about her. As if in the eyes of everyone, she was just a child walking in the street to play. No one even realized that something was strange or amiss.

As Eve continued walking leisurely, she went in a certain direction under the gazes of everyone around.

At that time, Charley had already given birth to a twin. She was now holding the both of them with her tears of joy streaming down to her cheeks. Joe, on the other hand, didn't pale in comparison to her in terms of joy. He was now finally a father! How could he not be happy with his long-awaited dream?!

As the cries of agonies were echoing outside the village, tears of joy were flooding to the both of them, not realizing the incoming disaster.
