Chapter 111: Helping Hand

Chapter 111: Helping Hand

Tokayo couldn't be bothered by the arrogance of the other party as he jumped up to reach his distance to one of the balls of whatever it was.

Swoosh.

As he did it that way, Tokayo tapped one of the balls as it was being absorbed by him. It was as if a blood being absorbed by his palm.

The ball was of course, huge. After all, it was made by a couple of Tree-Merger Apes fused with a tree. But the absorbing rate was incredibly fast, and it didn't take long for Tokayo to finish absorbing it.

After 10 minutes or so, Tokayo had finally finished absorbing them all. He then landed on the lake of blood as he raised his hand in front of him, then clenched it tightly trying to feel his current strength.

If he had only a mouth, he should be grinning right now. With the help of many beings, his strength had increased of who knew how many folds it was, how could he not feel happy with that?

"Prepare yourself old man!" Tokayo exclaimed excitedly. After which, he vanished from where he was standing only to appear beside Laude with a readied punch.

"Hmph!" Laude harrumphed coldly.

Before Tokayo could even strike, he found his body already turned into a half, preventing him from doing anything at all.

His body was just cut vertically for who knew how!

Tokayo was surprised. He couldn't even see the move of the other party. But of course, it only ignited his excitement!

His cut body then combined together as it was being reformed in a few moments. His regenerating ability seemed to be much faster compared to Jim!

"Incredible!" Chad who was watching immediately recovered from his earlier damage and was now astonished at the strength shown by Jim's new creation. If he was the one fighting this, Chad thought that he would have a hard time winning.

He could only swallow his saliva as his hand was clenched into a fist without him knowing it.

Swoosh!

Crash!

On the other hand, just after Tokayo had restored his body, he had once again struck by an invisible force. He had only found himself sent flying and was now furiously rolling on the lake of blood.

So to halt his roll, he grabbed the surface of the lake of blood beneath him. But although his roll was halted, he was still being pushed away by the sheer force.

Tokayo could only praise the other party for being too strong.

So then after some time, he finally managed to halt his movement. He then stood up to see the other party and make a counterattack when suddenly,

"You're pretty tough." Tokayo heard a voice behind him.

Without looking back, Tokayo immediately jumped away, as only then he turned around to see his opponent.

But before he could even land on the lake of blood, and before he could even take a glimpse to the other party, he suddenly felt a shiver down to his spine as he instinctively shifted his gaze upwards.

But what greeted him was the other party's huge fist, ready to land on his face at any moment.

Swoosh!

Sapak!

Kaboom!

Tokayo didn't even have time to react as the other party's fist mercilessly slammed on his face.

As if a meteor had collided on Earth, Tokayo was then sent down to the surface of the lake of blood as mountainous waves were immediately created.

"What the hell!" Chad jumped up in fright as he tried to dodge the huge waves coming at him.

Since the other party was changing their battlefield, Chad was continuously chasing after them. But who would have thought that the battle was so intense and would cause such a mess.

As he followed them, he would just catch sight of Laude who was now already striking his opponent and had caused huge waves of blood.

That was really a terrifying sight!

That being said, Chad tried to jump up high above to avoid the incoming waves of blood.

But later, he slapped his forehead as he realized that he was only a consciousness and these waves of blood would not be able to touch him.

Nonetheless, since he was already in the midair, he chose to remain up there so that he could also have a clearer look at what was going on now.

Chad could see that it was a one-sided battle. Laude didn't even give the other party a chance to counterattack. That was really too merciless of him. Was the other party neglecting the fact that his opponent this time was only his grandson? Did he even need to show power to such an extent?

Gradually, the mountainous waves calmed down until the entire lake of blood was then again as calm as before. Chad thought that the lake of blood would not turn back to normal anymore and these waves of blood would continue to appear but to his surprise, he would just see that it was only a few batches of mountainous waves and the entire place was already calming down.

Was this place set to become like this? Chad thought that it was surely the case.

But then, this world was formed through illusions. Something like the law of nature was couldn't be applicable here.

Chad then looked for the two who were fighting each other as he found them not too far away. Jim's creation, Tokayo, was now lying on top of the lake of blood. He wasn't moving. And from the looks of it, he didn't receive any damage at all despite that huge waves.

Chad then saw Laude walking in the direction of Tokayo. The other party wasn't in a hurry and was as if walking in a park. Until then, Laude halted his steps when he reached his distance of about five meters away from Tokayo.

"Old man, you're too fierce..." Tokayo spoke. Since his master was calling the other party an old man, he would too, call him that way.

"Am I? But it seemed like I didn't cause you any damage at all." Laude laughed.

"Lol!" Tokayo laughed bitterly as he got up and sat with his hands supporting his body. "I was completely torn into pieces you know. I just got restored. But it really hurts you know!"

"Haha is that so?" Laude was enjoying it. "So? What now? You still wanna fight?"

"I only have one mission. And that is to beat you up, old man."

"Oh?"

After which was said, Tokayo stood up from his seat as he faced the old man before him. Base on his earlier fight, the other party had a space ability. The other party could move freely wherever he wanted and could cause such destruction using space.

With his blood ability, Tokayo could only dream of defeating this opponent if he could not close his range to the other party. Even with his current strength, he really was clueless about how to defeat this kind of opponent.

What a terrifying monster. Tokayo might only have been born into this world, but he wasn't stupid enough to not know what was weak and what was strong. And this old man in front of him was in a level above strong!

"Let me give you a helping hand." Tokayo was still thinking of a way to defeat Laude when he suddenly heard a voice in his mind. It was telepathy, and he was more than sure that it was the voice of his master.

Tokayo didn't reply though. He was even embarrassed by the fact that even after borrowing the power of his master and the others, and even after absorbing a bunch of apes, he was still unable to put up a good fight with their opponent. In fact, he didn't even have a chance to use the abilities of those he had absorbed.

Did he disappoint his master? Tokayo was thinking about it now. But from the happy tone of voice of his master, it seemed that it was not the case. It even appeared that the other party was enjoying the show. Whatever might it be, Tokayo was not satisfied with his own performance as he said to himself that he would definitely not waste the helping hand of his master.

So then, this happened...

Laude felt that something was amiss as he instinctively gazed above only to find that the eye on the sky seemed to move and gazed at him. Laude then frowned as he narrowed his eyes to see what was going on.

But to his shock, it appeared that his grandson had done something interesting again. It appeared that the space in the entire area of where they were, was now stable as he couldn't mess it up anymore.

It seemed like Jim had fortified the entire space using the illusions as even Laude was now having a hard time controlling it with just his current limit of strength.

"As expected to Charley's eye, its ability to mess up the natural world is really something," Laude remarked inwardly. But then, they were not in the natural world. However, it only made things worse since they were in the Illusion World of where something like Charley's eye reigned.
